Summer Plans (1 Viewer)

Im trying to keep the tears away, but the season is over. That leaves a void until pre-season starts in July. This summer it's a little easier with the Euros and even the Olympics. So for this week's Cooks Question, i want to know what you plan to do this summer with the sky blues to keep you entertained. The best answers will be used during Thursdays episode of Sports Lounge, so dont forget to tune into 98.6 Hillz FM from 10am this Thursday to hear your comment read out. Thanks for your support once again everyone and have a wonderful summer

I'm looking forward to an epic week in June. Off to the Euros for final group game, fly back to watch ODI at Edgbaston, then next day off to O2 to watch Joshua. Missus is furious :p

Go to a couple of motorsport meetings, watch England and Northern Ireland in the Euros on TV, there's the IOM TT to look forward to although sadly I'll only be watching on the TV not in person, family holiday and waiting in anticipation for the transfer window to open.

No idea what I am doing. Got my left arm crushed on valentines day. lots of hospital appointments so can't plan anything. The hospitals I am going to are in Manchester and Wigan so are a fair bit away. Can't take the motorhome away as can't drive a manual. Can only drive my people carrier as it is an automatic and the shifter is on the right of the steering wheel. On long term sick so have plenty of time to do what I like though as long as I am capable of it :)

Doubt I will even bother with the Olympics, maybe just the football if it is on.

Watch the Euros
football is the worst part of the olympics
Olympics should only be for sports where that is the pinnacle - eg athletics/swimming/cycling
Certainly not an extra stop off for football/tennis/golf

Vegas, Grand Canyon, LA, San Fran including Giants baseball game,Fort Lauderdale, Key West, Orlando, Toronto - spending the rest of the summer sorting out how it will be all paid for

I agree on the olymopics comments football & tennis have their own specialised tournaments, its for the less covered sports to have their time in the spotlight.

Finalising my divorce.
Looking for a job.
Move back to Cov (for the first time since 92!).

Of course there's the Euro's to look forward to. Don't have Sky so cricket will be restricted to SBT.

And the 'excitement' of our new signings.

Would sound good but she doesn't have a sister :)

Did it at work. Faulty machine malfunctioned while I was fixing it. Next hospital appointment tomorrow. Will then know if I am looking at a very early retirement. Either that or a job I can do with one hand.

Hope it all goes well for you. Hopefully it will all go to plan and you will start having fun again soon.

Europa League Final in Basel. The three warm up friendlies. Every game England play in the Euros. Woolacombe for a week. Then the Summer finishes off with Slovakia away and 2 weeks in Cancuun. Will probably have to do a couple of Moto GPs for work too at some point.

Sounds nasty. Will you get insurance / combo if you have to take early retirement?
