Well lads (and lasses), another season is over. So, what are we gonna do with ourselves for the next 3 months? Shopping? Play with the kids? Or watch Cricket? Whats your plans for the summer months before Football returns in August. Last year wasnt so bad as we had the World Cup, but this year is going to be horrible as F1 only happens every 3 weeks now and theres no international Football. I think im just gonna focus on finding myself a flat or something. The best answers are going to be used for Cooks Question on Sports Lounge this Thursday on 98.6 Hillz FM

Get my patela tendon sorted - honest it will stop breaking down soon - it has only been 18 months with 6 months of physio...it is definitely going to happen!

Just done a bit of googling and it seems games are only on Xbox Live and YouTube. Bit odd, I can get YouTube on my TV so assume it will work with a live stream.

Fall asleep during Wimbledon, stick pins in my eyes instead of watching Cricket, and cause outrage when the women's World Cup is on by saying girls can't play football !

Just got home from work. I work shifts. I got asked today if I can move onto a different shift. Going away first two weeks of July. Had to take kids out of school. But now will have end of July and nearly first half of August off. They are honoring my holiday already booked. So I now have 4 shifts to work in 46 days

Come on City. Pre season in Italy again please. Will be able to go by myself this year as wife won't be able to have more holiday like me

Have you got a Waps budget or a SISU budget? Just wondering if I need to ramp up my security?

When I was a nipper HH, I lived in Wiltshire but was invited to go sea fishing off the IoW one weekend. We were catching Mackerel to use as bait and were skinning the Mackerel and leaving some of it on the side of the boat. The weather was that hot that the Mackerel was actually cooking on the side of the boat. Being unprepared, I didn't have any sun tan lotion on and as you can imagine, 8 hrs on the Solent on a baking hot day without sun tan lotion, wasn't going to end well.

I had the following week off school with bad sunburn, missing sports day as well. Saw you mention Mackerel and it brought it all back...get that lotion on!

Anyway, back to the OP...I'll be thoroughly preparing as I make an honest woman out of the missus at the end of August. Sky Blue colour scheme at the wedding of course.

I'm getting a builder to knock down half my house & rebuild it so my Mrs. can have a nice big open plan kitchen diner & large family/play room.....so I'll be working hard as usual to earn the cash to pay for it all.

....I'll be gaining a small music room to fill with my vinyl collection & a rebuilt garage for all my lambretta & cycling needs.

....I also will be losing about 40m2 of lawn so less mowing & more bike time for me

I don't mind the real ones at all as they serve an ecological function - well the native ones anyway, not the ones brought in unwanted from elsewhere. Problem with introduced alien species is that they are difficultt to eradicate and damage ecosystems - normally at an irrevocable cost to the native species

I don't get holidays. I work 4 on 4 off. Then I get 18 days off after doing 7 sets. With me moving shifts I am getting two lots of 18 days off and doing 4 days in the middle with a couple more off as they will owe me a couple of shifts. We average about 144 shifts a year. They are 12 hours though, days nights weekends and bank holidays.
