I think now that nothing much is happening at the club (that we know of) and the weather is nice it is a taster of what it is going to be like pre season.

Means I will need to find something else to do!

I blame sunlight for the positive outlook we seem to have during preseason.

Cheers guys. Only problem is I'll have a fight on my hands as her Grandad is Leicester scum. I wouldn't mind, but the atmosphere at Leicester is far better than the Ricoh. How can i compete.

You compete by joining him/her up to the JSB's at the earliest opportunity and then threatening no pocket money if Incester are ever mentioned. If the wife intervenes put her in her place too

The sky blue shop is full of shit merchandise. I'm sure you can find CCFC romper suits, baby-sized football kits etc. Also boo anything Leicester related that comes on telly when the kid is around. Kids' minds are easy to mould

I'm going to have to get a Leicester Sleep suit as i bet Grandad that Cov would finish above them this season. We were 5th and they were bottom of the league.

My grand kids were destined to be Man U fans like their dad, however, I converted him to watching the Mighty Sky Blues... now they all have season tickets

Went fishing today because of the great weather. Took me about 7-8 minutes to drive to some nice rocks where the sea-bass are starting to show. Nice afternoon, but nowt caught! Looking forward to summer when all the tourists and holidaymakers come down and then have to go back to work after their break!! Also will be around for the IoW Festival and IoW Bestival. Some top acts lined up! (They'll never beat the 1970 Festival though!)

My summer will probably involve me panicking after doing useless in my exams and scrambling to try and find a job after not getting onto any masters courses. And then with whatever free money i have, trying to eradicate any memory of the real world by drinking beer in beer gardens and watching the scantily-clad ladies wander by

Holiday late July, then I'll be going to Bestival (again) like Houch. Then I will be going back to uni after my year long work placement.

Have no idea what to dress up as at Bestival mind.

Knocked off work early as the lure of the pub garden and nipping in to watch aintree was irresistible. No winners but a fantastic afternoon. Rich there is a sky blue teddy, over-priced at £15 but my 14 month old son's grandad bought him one, which I named Alf for him and he loves it. Also good to get a name sign made for the bedroom door, fiver or so. I live just outside Walsall so there's only 2 of us in the SBA for now, me and the boy!

Craigus, I reside on the Island so I might not actually go to the Bestival - just park up locally and listen in! Just like the IoW Festival!
If you do come down here, let me know and we can meet up for a pint or two!
