Graduate loses bid to sue Oxford over 2:1

Mildly mental.

Read the article when he originally filed the case and it seemed a reasonable reason to sue, the time, effort etc that goes into a oxbridge degree and one poorly taught module fucks it all up seems reasonable grounds for a case imo.

My housemate at the moment has a module in his engineering degree where the highest mark in a module was less than 50%, so his chances of a 1st have been jeopardised by the university either under teaching or writing a poor exam and when he'll be in a £50,000 hole come graduation day I can understand the grievance.

That said, suing for £1m seems absolutely ridiculous

Hope he paid all the costs himself and there was no legal aid involved, the man is a total bell end I wonder if he fancies a job at Sisu
