It's neither success nor failure and I do not see how you guys are measuring it because a season is 46 games not 20 or 30 or 40, so thus far I think many of your words are pathetic. I hope with this thread and a few others actually questioning FL are tongue in cheek because if not many of you actually mirror the pathetic state this country is in.
Life is not about football, it's about work, commitment, family, challenge, it certainly isn't about 3pm on a Saturday. I love the club, the players and FL and I will be sad if any of them leave. We have a great set of lads and I will support them till the end because that is being a fan. However, I'm not going to lose any sleep if we don't go up. i will still come on here and talk city and go to the matches but I really don't give a tosh if we don't go up.
REALLY if you feel sad (and be careful it's not the drink) then you have issues with your life. I support us win, lose or draw. I feel honoured to support us, I feel proud FL is our manager and I am proud, so proud of the players for putting us at the top of the league. If we slide down, so be it, even if we do go up and there is still a massive chance we will, what will the season be like next year?

The question was whether you will see it as a success if we fail to go up (whether after 46/48/49 games), not at this point. But fair point about supporting the club irrespective, which I think we all agree with.
Im probably being harsh and I’m still racked off with the way we are playing and becoming the laughing stock of the league.
I want to see some fight from the players, desire, energy to press teams. Get the bit between the teeth. As warnock said “die for the 3 points” yet what we’re watching is scared tippy tappy nonsense.
I'm the eternal optimist but even I am starting to doubt we will get out of this bad spell soon. We all expected it would have ended by now. Please give it some next weekend now is when it's needed .We just need an own goal a penalty(ha ha) deflected shot anything just to get a bit of belief back.
Dispite everything we are still on top.have won the most home games in the division no one has more home left than us.Nine big ones at home and seven away.
Enjoy the ride
