"It took Jimmy Hill a few years to get it right" JH was here 5 years, started in division 3 and ended up in the top flight aswell as a FA cup run to the quarters.

Some of our players possess more ability and skill than those currently playing in the Premier League

Southampton were in a similar position to ourselves 5 years ago. That is the benchmark for us as a club.

I was out today shopping so just reading up on the BBC site. Pressley says "We were very positive with everything we did, we created a lot of chances and dominated the game." And yet the BBC says we had 46% of possession and Gills had 19 shots to our 8. Shurely Shome mistake?

"We want to build a team around calum Wilson."

"Work rate and effort was great today" (2 things I consider standard)

On Manset

“He brings us great firepower and he is still young so has huge potential.”

On Tudguay

“There have been a number of things about Marcus that have impressed me and he quickly underlined the reasons why I wanted to bring him here.”

On McQuoid

“Josh McQuoid has been a target for us throughout the summer…he is at a perfect age who very much suits the footballing philosophy at this football club and I'm sure he'll have a positive impact."

On Miller

“I'm delighted to bring in Shaun Miller...He is at a great age of 26 and I believe he can become a prolific goal-scorer for this football club."

On Urquhart

We are absolutely delighted to get Stuart…He’s a player I’ve had my eye on forsome time and I believe he has a great future ahead of him.”

On Pugh

"Danny will also be a positive influence onour younger players who continue to show promise and they will only benefit from his presence on the pitch..."

Ha ha brilliant. Why don't the Telegraph push these quotes in front on him during an interview and request that he provides justification for being such a silly boy?!

"I am so angry I can't sleep and make no mistake they will be banished from this football club"

Jackson is now a regular and tudgay had a stormer at Walsall. Would of played since if not for injury but of course Tudgay doesn't have a future.

Miller doesn't have a future and comes on today as a sub.

For me SP had to go after Oldham to lose 4-1 to Oldham wa a new low for me. Nothing's changed since
