Hes at it again today! Talking about how 'he can't see' us going into admin, and can only see us going into liquidation......all because the CET say so!

My dad just said 'well if a man like Linell thinks that will happen then.....' I stopped him before he could finish and said 'he's a twat...'. He didnt finish his sentence

He has a point though. Admin makes more sense now than it did say 12 months ago because of the rent arrears, but it still doesn't make much sense because the main creditors are SISU themselves. Liquidation would make more sense from a 'cut their losses' point of view because SISU would be the main benefactors of the fire sale of assets (not that we have much), than they would from administration (either way they'd still lose big time). I'm not an expert on these matters I admit, but the noises all along from those within the club are that if SISU walk it will be liquidation rather than administration - but perhaps this is ultimately out of their control. Who knows. Part of me wishes this comes to a head one way or another soon.

This is true but my point is that Linell talks like he is in the k ow! When he knows as much as the next person who reads the CET. And that alone isn't exactly a reliable source. Remember, the quotes are from Fisher. Who contradicts anything ACL say, who contradict anything he says. So we're really none the wiser as to who is lying and who isn't.

Werent Pompey close to liquidation? Atleast 12 months on (if not alot longer) their still in the football league, still running financially and still without their 10 point deduction.

Back to the subject of the post, Linell really isnt any one special like he likes to think

He has an antagonistic style of broadcasting. He talks off the top of his head most of the time and his brashness gets up my nose like a bad zit. His insistence that City would liquidate rather than put us in administration is the same. Maybe I just don't want to hear the bad news but he puts it across in such a cock sure way.

I agree with you.. he was rather grating this afternoon re his "opinion" that it might be worse than Admin.. and it might be.. I just wished he didn't say it in such a manner.. little or no contrition.
I respect the fact that in his position he has to play "devils advocate".. its the role ... but sometimes.. just sometimes...

The biggest asset Sisu have is the league registration.
Surely this registration is worth more whilst we are in this division as apposed to liquidation !!!

I used to love Linnel as a kid but as I've got older I've realised that he's just a fan like the rest of us and talks an equal amount of bollux !!

of course, according to a caller after the match, losing was all linnells fault as himself or eakin had said about being precarious in keeping the lead. laughed my balls off when he cut him off.
