Samuel would command quite a high fee for League 1 standards probably around £500k I'm guessing?

Yep, we won't be signing Samuel, he will be in and around the reading first team squad next season. We couldn't afford the fee to sign him if reading do want to let him go.

You might be right there but Reading are apparently in severe financial problems and Samuel only has a year left on his contract so leaves Reading the choice of cashing in on him or let him leave for nowt next year.

They would not want to match the salary that Pope is on either I am sure I was told he is on around 7k per week which is a bit rich for a player of his ability.

if thats true then yeah i wouldnt touch him, been a player who came up with them i expected him to be on under 4k

I cannot see the 7k rumopur being anything other than a crock of s**t........severely cannot see....

a. How he would be on that salary
B. How Port Vale could afford to pay him that salary???

Eitherway would not sign him whatever wage he is on as it seems top heavy even if I do not believe it is 7k a week.

He's under 24, he can't leave for nowt next year as long as Reading offer him a new deal they will get compensation for him,

I'd love Samuel to come back for another loan spell, this time for the full season. And what about Matt Tubbs?

I don't think that I know more than anyone else. But I consider all options before making my mind up. TM is a seasoned manager. He knows who is available. He is in talks with many agents. He knows what type of players he wants. He knows how much his budget will stretch. He knows how much the agents are after. I trust what he decides. He knows more than me or you.

Or do you dislike me saying about giving SISU another chance now it looks like they are running our club like they should?

Astute, nothing to do about Sisu, don't keep putting words in that I have never said. You do that to many of my posts. just keep to the subject in future and don't try twisting words to suit you.

What subject? You made up utter rubbish saying that I think I know better than anyone else. Most of what you say is nearly your view alone but anyone disagreeing with you is a reason for you to have a go at. How about listing everything I have said that is wrong. You make comments with no reasoning behind it. I try to give reasoning about my thoughts. And if questioned I will explain most of the time. That is unless I am questioned by someone I consider to be an idiot. And before you make another idiotic comment I have taken the time to explain to you.

No need to. I respect everyone until they diss me. Then they get it back. I don't come on here to get insulted. Why should I take it on here when I never get it anywhere else at all?

Just got a text back from my trainer. He is happy to facilitate a meet. He will make sure you don't get hurt too badly. Then if you are able I will buy you a pint and we could have a laugh about it.

I only had three fights where I didn't win by a knockout before I had to retire through injury and am well into the super heavyweight band now. Does that make me a good striker?

Makes you slow as fuck and prime for a speedy combo to put you on your arse for the ten count.

Karate years ago but freestyle training now. Bit of everything. Good fun and legal. Martial arts, boxing and wrestling. All options covered. Not bad for an old twat I am told.

No, Pope had his day in the limelight and never moved on from that in my opinion and Clarke, well as much as he might score a few, I wouldn't trust him with someone else's barge pole. If he bangs 10 goals in the first 15 games I bet he doesn't last until Christmas before leaving for a crappy championship club who will double his wages.
