Seems pretty clear we have a decent 11

Think the best we could hope for is three signings in Jan where would you three be and why?

For me

CB Webster needed substituting today at about 60 mins as a precaution yet it was not an option.

Centre Forward

If one of the boys gets injured and Manset comes in then we have no back up.

Finally a winger

With out current revenue streams whichever side you are on it is clearly apparent that we have no money to strengthen. A good Januaryfor me would be keeping all our current squad - even this I regard as slightly ambitious tbh!

So when they said any freed wages would be used on replacements. You don't believe them?

Think we have had 5-6 go out and 3 come in?

That maybe different but I think it is something like that.

Well if posters are to be believed this was when Sisu were budgeting on 3000 home fans a week......If true the losses are greater than anticipated.....plus to keep our gems thay have to offer siginificantly improved terms to existing players as well.....would rather keep this nucleus of players on imporved contracts tbh!

None really. Even with the deduction i think we will just about get into the play-offs. Either we are great or the standard of the division is poor. Well could be a bit of both. Probably is, in fact.

This was only the other week

Ms Seppala maintained she has already attracted investors to fund the club for years - including the losses from playing poorly attended ‘home’ matches at Northampton, and the costs of building a new stadium in the Coventry area within five years.

“But the reality is we’re in it for the long term. We don’t want to sell anyone in January (when the transfer window next opens). If we have a squad with the ability to compete and be promoted, we have £5million in additional revenues in the Championship.”

Problem is 3 injuries at the same time to any of these Webster, Clarke, Baker, Wilson, Murphy and we are facing a relegation battle.

Three injuries at the same time is quite normal

I still think our squad is up there in terms of quality and stength and more importantly attitude compared to most in this league.
I state again would rather we keep current squad and offer improved terms to keep them and not lost them than bring in new faces and lose current squad members as a result!!

Can't argue with attitude
Best it has been for 12-13 years.

However three injuries and we turn to this bench
Kids then have to replace the kids jettisoned into the team.

10 Manset
13 Burge
16 Barton
17 Daniels
18 Phillips
30 Garner
31 Haynes

To be honest, an injury to either L Clarke or Wilson will severely hamper the team.

An injury to Leon Clarke and or Webster and we are really in trouble

We only have Murphy, Baker, Webster and Clarke as seasoned professionals

we do need one or two older heads, as todays second half will show

we need another big CB even with urquart, clarke has played really well mind

we need a defensive CB, tough tackler to help us see out games

and the much sought after left winger

other than that we look ok

mid table me thinks unless we learn how to defend stronger all over the pitch for full 90 mins,if we do top 6 is still on
