Unbelievable.
And again the blame gets placed upon those following government guidelines rather than than those actually in charge.

Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of the wise.

You said it yourself, 'guidelines'.

Indeed. I am sure that you will have no hesitation applying the same logic to the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of Muslims shot, blown up, murdered & butchered, on Muslim countries’ soil, by... errr... would that be the “Christian West”?

You see what you want to see, you are utterly ignorant to the world around you.

Genuine question as I’m interested in the way people think about this. Given what you have said above which can’t be disputed do you feel that some of the events that happen here are in some way “reap what you sow? I hear people inferring that who I speak to. Some with even a slight edge of satisfaction that we are getting what is coming to us. Maybe a view that a couple of people being stabbed is small fry in comparison.

I think the West’s crusade in the Middle East is less religious and more greed and thirst for resources. If it was a religious concern we would be bombing much of West Africa and Indonesia as well

It was an automatic release wasn’t it? Not sure the parole board was even involved in the decision to release him. I think you’re barking up the wrong blame tree.

it's pretty much indisputable that western foreign policy with, as you point out, greed under pinning it rather than Christian ideology, has caused absolute mayhem in the middle east.
From the first paranoid incursion in to Afghanistan in the 19th century, (or was it early 20th), through to replacing, for the Middle east, fairly progressive leaders with tyrants, to arming Bin Laden to fight the Russians and the Blair/Bush invasion of Iraq have all been disastrous.

And all the time letting the Saudis spread their barbaric Wahhabism in exchange for keeping the oil flowing. What worries me is that we don't seem to be learning.
In the here and now we have to deal with the issue of fundamentalism that we've helped create, not sure that the best way to do that is. But a bit of joined up thinking is required for once.

We also need to remember, that muslims have suffered far more than anyone at the hands of ISIS and their affiliates.

Actually I’ll change that. You can’t rehabilitate peadophiles. And I don’t want terrorists rehabilitated. Fuck them.

We have rehabilitated terrorists literally running parts of the U.K. right now and appearing on LBC. It clearly does happen. Problem is you can’t ever tell when it’s happened.

Pedos are an interesting one. Not sure what the research says but it seems to be something that afflicts people from birth and some manage. Should we just end people’s lives if we find out they’re pedos, would that encourage people to stay underground instead of getting help? Can we even manage to control it or are people a write off?

At least it’s clear what a pedo is I suppose (grey areas around young but legal girls aside), terrorist is just a murderer with a mission. In that case why not all violent offenders? Is some bloke who goes out battering people of a weekend likely to be rehabilitated? 7.5k alcohol related deaths last year, an order of magnitude above terrorism, ban alcohol?

Lots of evidence locking people up radicalises them further as well. Thorny subject all round. My gut says we need to be tougher, but also that means investment in prisons that’s been hard to come by.

Really don’t know the answer here.

Its all planned anyway. The same few people want these things to happen because it legitimises them exerting more control.

Its not about religion, colour, west v east or any of that, its about a few people engineering worldwide situations so that they can present "solutions" to problems, which actually are what they wanted the whole time.

Hence the comment about being ignorant to the world- look hard enough and you'll see the same patterns, the same events- and most importantly the same responses time after time, but the responses each time getting that bit more draconian & self serving to the people at the very top.

I think you will find that it is anything but a simple world, and you have to look a little deeper into things as opposed to just accepting what you are fed, but then doing that wouldn't really be "you", would it.

Great rebuttal. I bow to you as the receptacle of superior knowledge. And there’s me thinking you were out of your depth. Can’t imagine whatever gave me that idea now.

apparently between 10-15 officers follow ONE potential terrorist. How much money does that cost the tax payer? it’s ludicrous. all suspected terrorists need to be put on an island. simple as that. the country would be a lot safer

Considering most referrals to Prevent are far right BNP types not sure you’ll support this in reality.

If we put all the BNP far right types together in once place (lets say the isle of thanet) they could live happily as longs as we sent them a regular shipment of carling and bud
