Now being reported that he was released from prison in the past month having served time for terrorism offences. Time to stop do-gooders from judging whether terrorists "no longer pose a threat to society". Lock them up and throw away the key, but if they are foreign nationals (yes, even those seeking asylum), send the cunts back to where they came from!

Yeah it’s better to blame a mystery group of people rather than those in power who are actually able to do something and bring police and prison funding up to acceptable levels.

When police and prison service funding is cut over the years, these dickheads are going to slip through the net, the police even warned it would happen, yet they were told to stop asking for more money.

Like the other case I think the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act should include an extra chapter for terrorists with far more stringent checks prior to release. That doesn't fit with austerity Britain though

Does our great leaders’ cause no harm at all to have things like these happening every now and again. They can whip up more hatred and demand that they control our lives even more, and spew out platitudes about being the party of law and order, while simultaneously continuing to cut police budgets and number of policemen so that they are too stretched to actually do anything about it. And yes I know they’re on a big recruitment drive... to take numbers back to 1,000 less than when they started.

Agree with the above about the effect of Tory cuts etc. Bozza knocking about talking about the last terrorist c**t being let out early etc ignoring that they’ve been in power the entire time he was convicted and released but yeah.

But for me, you can’t rehabilitate peadophiles and you can’t rehabilitate terrorists.

Maybe this is the rehabilitation they let them out cause a few issues and then wipe them out.It might be easier to fly them home but no landing just drop them out of the plane but with no parachute in the bag they are given.

should probably have put the place where they are causing trouble for, but on this occasion Harrow would be ok as it would save fuel in these days of austerity.

Since the turn of the century how many terror attacks have been carried out by foreign nationals?

With respect, I didn't say anything about a "mystery group of people", so i don't get your meaning. What i actually said was that if (emphasis on IF) they are identified as being a foreign national, actions such as what appears to have happened yesterday should mean that they are not welcome in our country, and should be deported and prevented from ever coming back.

As for blaming it on austerity cuts, that is also a red herring, as he was under active surveillance by a two-man armed response unit. His RELEASE was a waste of resources, as I'm sure these two firearms officers could find something better to do. If it was deemed that he needed armed police within 10 seconds response time, in NO WAY could he be described as being "safe for release".
As others have said, it may well be impossible to rehabilitate a terrorist, and they should stay locked up, rather than being released by some namby-pamby parole board.

You blamed ‘do gooders’ for his release when his crime was committed and sentencing passed under the Conservatives.
Austerity cuts a red herring? Guess what, locking these people up for life is going to require more funding.

just reading about this guy, sounds like an absolute cretin. Unfortunately, even cretins can do serious damage when they're inclined to.

That's that scariest thing about these nutters. It doesn't take an ounce of intelligence or planning to grab a knife and start stabbing people which makes it almost impossible for the police to intercept before some damage is done.

Simply locking these degenerates up for life will never be fly because of human rights laws and even then it's not always repeat offenders who carry out these cowardly, pathetic attacks.

This is nonsense apart from the failures of the system, for which we have our glorious leaders the Conservatives to thank. As for the comment about "if they are foreign nationals"- they never are, are they? They're always home grown from what I can see, and the failure to ask why these people get to the point they feel inclined to do these things should a point for serious consideration, not just daft talk about deporting people (a few miles) and parole boards. With the way things are and the way the country is running, this kind of thing will repeat itself ad nauseam, it will never stop.

1. Some sick individual/s go nuts and try to murder innocent people
2. The right call for deportations, a 'tough stance', and racism breaks out.
3. The government talk about getting strong and tough and use it as a party political broadcast
4. They actually do nothing meaningful, they just give interviews & make promises, and a few months later we end up back at 1 & we start again.

You will note that there is no stage here for trying to better understand at source as opposed to just reacting after the fact & getting all trigger happy & flexing our big muscles talking about deportations & namby pambies.

Here's one.

If somebody gets sent down for terror offences, make them share a cell with Tommy Robinson.

Serious questions need to be asked off the parole board here, why are they allowing terrorists back out onto the streets?

If convicted of a terrorism offence you need to be exterminated after a long prison sentence.

How about they turn Nuneaton into a huge Guantanamo Bay style holding area for baddies?

Nutters murder other people in the name of Islam and Christianity. It’s the nutters bit you seem to be overlooking.

But we have specially trained officers buddying up to keep tabs on those released already...wouldn’t it be easier to keep them in Prison at a third of the cost. Stuff civil liberties.
I’d give them an enclosure and a copy of gardeners world Winter edition and make them work for their existence.

Unbelievable.
And again the blame gets placed upon those following government guidelines rather than than those actually in charge.

Indeed. I am sure that you will have no hesitation applying the same logic to the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of Muslims shot, blown up, murdered & butchered, on Muslim countries’ soil, by... errr... would that be the “Christian West”?

You see what you want to see, you are utterly ignorant to the world around you.
