Seems pointless for a friendly tbf (surely going to want 90 mins from the team for the Sunderland game) so might as well put Billson on the bench for Pompey, but you are probably right that it won't work like that.

2-0 Cov some good performances but Stratford did a good job - our goalie Tyler was busy and did a good job - first goal was Nee - good effort second was Mc Grath - Dan Lafferty for them was full of skill and energy - Howley was solid but midfield was packed by Stratford and the ball was mainly in the Cov half

McGrath looked decent. Tyler looked very assured, think he has a league two loan lined up. Nee looked busy and Rus caused them all sorts of problems. Decent watch.

Just league 2! Think he’s got a lot of potential so makes sense for Bilson to be third choice this year whilst he goes out.
