The strangest goal I ever saw was a few seasons ago, I cannot remember all the details but it was either a pass back or a weak shot. The ball just ran along the ground and the GK got low down to just scoop it up routinely. But just before the ball reached the GK, it hit a divot in the grass and jumped up over the goalies head and into the goal. The GK was absolutely dumbfounded. I wonder if its on Youtube anywhere. It was a televised game.
Either a Stoke or a Sunderland match, I'm sure.

I think this is a strange goal! No wind, just a straight forward throw back to the goalkeeper, oh and best of it is happened to Villa!

I seem to remember the reverse once happened where the ball went into the goal then crept under or through the net and ended up outside, and the ref disallowed it.
