Personally I will always back the team home and away no matter who the owners are, who the players are, who the manager is because I am a Coventry City supporter.
What I am reading is that some people won't support the team at home because it's lining SISUs pockets! If we all had that mentality then where would be??
I d ont believe anyone that says no matter how well we are doing next season, they, under no circumstances, will support the team at the Ricoh!?
Bullshit!!! If we are flying high at the top of the league by Xmas, all the Sisu out protests will be gone and the fans will be flooding back, probably ending up with more people in the Ricoh than this season.

I'm not buying a season ticket next year because of sisu. I have been a season ticket holder for 9 years. In my opinion buying season tickets now is just prolonging the sisu nightmare. Next season I will pick & choose my games, after supporting the club through thin & thin over the last 20 years I think I've earned that right. Also sisu pick & choose when they support the club so why shouldn't I?

Everyone is within their rights to do what they like and that is not I think what the OP is challenging. Ultimately if you are a supporter of a football club and enjoy going every week that will take priority above logical thought. As you say it has been thin and thin anyway so anyone following a club such as ours is not doing it for pursuit of glory it is clearly another motivation. The notion therefore that this emotion can be detached so that someone can instead pursue an idealistic agenda of regime change is, on the face of it, puzzling. What makes this doubly puzzling is there is no better alternative visibly on offer. Yes we know of a fan who professes interest but no nothing of his investors or his intentions.

Not arguing with that mate. Fair play to you. What I'm talking about is total home boycott, no matter what? People on here have said that even if we win the league, I won't be there to see it! That's what I don't understand?

Thank you for putting it across as I meant it! I am indeed puzzled as to how someone can detract from the habit of a lifetime.
