Just now, he said "Well it could be that his team-mates asked him to come back as a player, saying "We could do with your help". I was put in that position at Coventry, as manager, where the players asked me to play".
And when he did, he was always our best player by a country mile! Does make me ponder which City players of the day asked him to comeback, though.
