THIS IS THE TYPE OF NOVEL THINKING I LIKE. SOMETHING SIMILAR TO A SUGGESTION I'VE PUT FORWARD A COUPLE OF TIMES ,YET DEALS WITH THE MELDING OF A FAN OWNED STADIA BY TAKING A SHARE IN CCFC IN EXCHANGE FOR USE . COMPLEX I'M SURE AND DEPENDANT ON EITHER SIDES WILLINGNESS TO "PARTY".

I have a simple proposal for an approach to solving the current mess. Why doesn't the council put the stadium up for public sale, on the condition that whatever team it is proposed will be playing there makes a meaningful percentage of it's shares available for public purchase by those living within, for example, a ten mile radius of the stadium itself? In my opinion, almost all of the bad decisions that have been made in the past have happened because there has been so little meaningful fan involvement in the club itself. It would be in the best interests of both the club and the fans to have this approach because the likelihood of the club being more successful would be increased.

Doeant really matter what we suggest.. Or what terms the council may attach to any potential deal, because i doubt sisu wouldnt accept them

Because the factions that have developed during the past few months wouldn't be able to make a single decision between themselves. "You went to Sixfilelds, so I don't agree with you", NOPM? Why did you go to Cup matches then?", "I blame SISU/ACL/anyone else, etc, so I won't talk to you", etc, etc

I don't think that this would necessarily be the case ,given the instant rapport that returned on here when CJ's tweet prior to Stadium design announcement was mistook for a RICOH return.

Christian Values are normaly cherry picked to fit in with what you are currently involved in. They can involve slavery, racism, persecution of jews, wars etc.... So it should no problem to justify moving a football club. By the way, what happened to this year's Christmas message? I haven't seen it. That should be a must as only Easter is more important in the Christian year. Even the real Queen gives us a message.

The question Is ,as unlikely as It Is . Would CCFC be as saleable In this format, compared to a SISu Owned Stadium Somewhere else and Somewhere In the Future ,which Involves more of their money and more of their time?

That was my original post on GMK. I guess I am pretty frustrated that my entire life, whenever an opera house or something similar has been on the verge of being closed down all the talk about preserving our culture and heritage has been thrown about, but when it comes to the City, acts that lets face it, should not be allowed, are somehow suddenly permissible (apart from protesting by running no the pitch, which somehow has become a criminal offense). Another option would be for the council to bundle the stadium together with a created football club, sell off the shares to those who live in the City and then petition the league for the golden share on the grounds that it is then the club the is genuinely representative of the City itself. I think there are options available for the council, basically, other than just selling the ground to one party.
