Really? Oh, I thought knee too. Ankle might possibly not be so serious.

I'd put Ricketts at left back and bring in Lorentzon. Looked solid, and stronger defensive option to bringing Haynes back

When I had a scan done it took an hour and I knew the results within an hour after that. They must know by now, unless they need a second opinion.

The fact he's gone to a specialist today means it's serious. He will be ruled out for the season imo.

CT saying it is not a bad injury, recovery in weeks rather than months.

Big relief... for his sake, too.

We haven't taken up the second year on his contract yet, have we?

Mowbray throws another curve ball by stating that he could play Stephen Hunt at left back

Is he going for the 'anyone but Haynes' stance perhaps?

No, Haynes needs to develop and playing regular at Cambridge is better than warming our bench. We have a number of left back options ahead of him

No training for a month but crucially no surgery needed. Hopefully have him back for the end of the season.

I’m sure Cranfield wouldn’t consume to excess like that. He obviously missed out a decimal point, and actually had three very modest 500ml glasses, which equates to 2.6 pints.

Definitely not 2.6.... Nor 26 although it felt like it!
