They'll be just as wary of us as we are of them. I hope they do attack us though, it will suit us. I just hope Lampard isnt too cautious about it. We can outscore them.

First of some real big tests coming up through November start of December.
Stoke, Boro, Charlton, Ipswich and Preston.
Come away with a decent haul and we really can start dreaming.

They rested half the team last night and still won 3-0. I would take a point.
The free scoring Stoke is a very small sample size. The team generally keeps things tight, lots of 1s and 0s. I'd think we'll go for the team that started the second half yesterday although i don't think Frank really knows what to do in the 10 with Rudoni out. If we're on the front foot (which we often are) it works front loading the team, but for a battle like this the missing midfielder could be a problem.

Snap your hand off for a point being as we did our job last night... But even so, we are guaranteed to be top going into the third break regardless of what happen - We'd have all been delighted with that back in August

A win and we are in an unbelievable position and we can really start dreaming

Definitely, before the last 2 games they had 9 games in a row where they either scored 0 or 1 goals.

For a defence that has shown elements of being threaded through easily - this game worries me and will be a real test.

tchamadeau entering his Cafu era so gonna need EMC working his nuts off to support JDS to keep him quiet.

Will take a draw.

Take a draw all day. Probably the toughest game so far.

They have a tight defence but we are scoring at least 2 a game and it will be a proper test for them. We need to go expecting to win nothing less.

In isolation Id take draws at Stoke, Boro and Ipswich. But given they all come in the same month we really could do with winning at least 1.

Draws more than good enough if we win the home games for me, but i think if we win 1 it'll be Boro. I can just see them falling off a bit.

The away fixtures leading up to the Jan window do look pretty fucking grim tbf. If we're still top 2 after that we're laughing.

Agree. What I do think, having had a look at most teams, is that there are a lot of teams with similar ability, all capable of taking points off each other (see last night's results with Ipswich, MBoro etc). Derby, Blackburn, Watford, Birmingham and Wrexham all picking up form suits us imo, as they are likely to take points off contenders and each other. The result of this is that I suspect the total for autos is going to be quite a bit lower than normal, and provided we win our upcoming home games, then losing a couple of the away games will not be calamitous (obviously don't want to). Really could do with getting Rudoni back (and up to speed) asap. I also want us to get to the transfer window in the top 2. If we can do that, I really fancy us.

We are a great team. Nothing says we can’t go there and put these to the sword!

1-3

Win here would be a big statement and would leave us at a minimum of 5 points clear at the top of the league. Last game before the break so some scope to go all out.

I've said a few times I think the autos is going to be a much bigger scramble than usual. Going to be an interesting season.

Have got a feeling it’s a spank or be spanked situation. Or a tense 0-0
