Because 9 of them were picked to start the last league game and it's quite easy to look online and see who is a first team player?

Its certainly not happening in the box for us with either the bounce or decisions. Lets hope it changes because the players definitely feeling it and look very nervy.

20 cup finals now, FL earns his money now.

bbc saying a very entertaining game... not sure about that.

I thought the whole thing was a bit flat, neither side really deserved to win.

We needed a good performance to get some confidence going, ideally a couple of goals, but we didn't get that at all. No one played that well. Neither one thing nor the other.

I'm gutted, I love the FA Cup.

It was a very dull game with two sides who didn’t want to win.

Not worth losing sleep over, next week is far more important.

I’d worry if we don’t put a performance in next week, we need to get out of this run and quick else every game all of a sudden becomes a worry when it shouldn’t,

Not bothered about going out of the F.A. cup....was probably not The only one hoping we didn't equalise.
I'm concerned with our form overall mind you, need more quality up front, hope BTA is ready soon and hopefully we add a quality CM during this window.
Thought Esse looks very decent.

BTA back next week, he was the leagues top scorer before his injury. And Torp is back in a week or so. No need to panic.

Not panicking. Feel we needed a CM since Sheaf left. BTA will need at least a month to get to his best and Torp slightly out of form. I think a CM even on loan makes sense.

Rubbish. We played really well away at Southampton. We were fine at PNE (and should have won). We were the better side at Blues. The only games we have been the poorer side have been against Ipswich (which is understandable).

Played fine whilst drawing against 10 men Preston???

Lost to an out of form Birmingham side who didn’t get out of first gear.

And drawn to an out of form Southampton side albeit we had 10 men for a decent period of the match.

You’re right… things are looking up!

What will annoy me is that pundits will count this game as another loss in our drop off without any understanding of the context.

The Southampton game where we were the much better team and winning until we went down to 10?

Good result all round. Gave ourselves a run out. Lost, but with respect, and Mark Robins Bus has finally turned up.
Total concentration on our best chance ever now.

We need at least 4 points from Leicester and Millwall imo, but 6 would be ideal. By need, not actually 'need' given our position but we do need to start turning it on again.

Exactly, it’s pretty simple when you’re not scoring like we were you can’t afford to defend like we do, silly mistakes ( apart from today ) we have to score first in games, it opens teams up then and it suits us, we’re not good at chasing games,

Really encouraged by the additions. We played well, especially second half. But this season of all seasons we just don’t need the extra games so on balance I’m glad we’re out. Add a midfielder in in the next 2-3 weeks and we’ll be difficult to stop

Probably good to get some more minutes into the legs of some of our squad players too against Championship level opposition.

We had one good chance, created absolutely nothing else. There is just no intensity to anything we do most of the time, it's all getting a bit predictable.

It's a game played mostly by our back ups agaisnt a team of mostly first choice stoke players.

If FL even thought we needed a win to pick up the team today he starts the best XI, he didn't.

Sorry but you are chatting whiff.

Only Andrews out of the midfield and forward line is likely to be a back up player

The way to play us rn is give us the ball and beat us on the break. Thats what Stoke did today and what Brum did.

Good point, can’t criticise as we’re top of the league. Next, please tell me look how far we’ve come from Northampton and we can get all the cliches out in one go.

Should never have lost that. Yes, we made errors, but we controlled possession and were denied a stonewall pen. Opinions and all that.

Simply not true.

Rudi is the only I can see starting against Leicester, I wouldn't but that is the likelyhood. Simms is the likely forward and I guess Esse may get a start and Eccles will likely only play if Torp can't start.

so yeah that was mostly or backs i.e. not in the best XI
