Haven't got a season ticket so it's difficult to get tickets for away games ( I had to sit with the home fans at Fulham last Sunday until we were moved by stewards) so its not a good experience generally.
Desperately need 3 tickets, 1 concession, 1 full price, 1 child for Stoke away if anyone can help please when they become available.
I live up in The Staffordshire Moorlands but I don't want to sit with the clayheads thanks.
Fingers crossed someone can help.

I'd imagine the Monday after the baggies game - 25th.

I had ticket in Fulham side but managed to get into Coventry side. Stewards rightfully moved me back to Fulham side as slightly standing in gangway. Experience in Fulham side was really quite fine. A nice place to go.

I’ve gone in the ‘wrong’ end a few times over the years…Why did the stewards move you? Where did they move you to?

I think back to our top flight days and big clubs coming to visit, it felt like half our end was filled with opposing fans.

I drank too much and somehow ended up going into the away end at the CBS against West Ham - fuck knows how that happened as I had a ticket for the Telegraph stand - luckily got let across into the home end.

Coincidentally it was a game vs West Ham at HR I was thinking about. I think we lost 1-3, we scored first. They had hartson and kitson.
It wasnt until West Ham scored that we realised that we were completely surrounded by West Ham fans. They did not sit on their hands!

This game was made weirder for me as when we took our seats, the bloke I was sat next to (a West Ham fan - so probably should have realised) was a bloke I knew from when I lived in London, who I hadn’t seen for a while and who I haven’t seen since!

Despite trying to sit on our hands it was impossible not to jump up in the air and cheer when we scored and on both occasions in the first half no one in the home end (especially the guy next to me) appeared to complain, in fact there were a lot of complimentary remarks about us being made.
There were 3 people directly behind us that were City fans too.
Around the 40 minute mark I noticed a senior female steward talking to a younger steward and then the next thing we were being asked if we'd like to move to be with the Coventry fans as there were seats available.
To their credit, the whole thing was handled very well and a great deal of concern for my welfare was given as I was still on my crutches following complete knee replacement surgery and I was asked if I wanted to sit in the designated area for fans with disabilities (can I say that word in this pc world of ours now?).
Hats of to Fulhams stewardship.

Well, I’ve got to say that’s a refreshingly lovely story. Fair play to Fulham.

Hope the knee replacement has been ok. My parents had theirs done recently…only a few months apart from each other. The old man, who had his done first has just started go back up to watch Pompey play. I’m hoping his pending brain replacement is just as successful!

You can definitely say disabled/disabilities!

Have had both my knees replaced in the space of 9 months, I'm a lucky lad given that there are untold numbers waiting for surgery for really really serious conditions.
I'm very grateful.
Hope you're parents make a good recovery Td, I'm getting there, the secret is doing your physio religiously.

Twice ended up in the wrong section of fans by mistake. First was Norwich away on my 21st birthday. P*ssed after drinking on the coach I'd hired. Somehow had a load of yellow toilet roll draped around me from the drunken journey. Staggered down the dividing fence in the Barclay end (?), and my brother and a load of my mates spotted me from the City section and started calling over to me. A few Norwich fans were looking at me, but I'd had enough to drink not to care. Another City fan (I think) must have been in their end too, as it seemed to kick off nearby and I was forgotten about and made it down to the front and a steward let me in th with the City fans.
The second time was England v Holland at Wembley (Gullit era) and there were masses of police/helicopters etc, and I just went up to a turnstile and was let in. Soon realised I was in with the Dutch. Can't remember how, but I managed to talk my way back into where I should have been!

Can't wait to see this on ITV with you played by Sheridan Smith and your mate being played by Danny Dyer.

And then we meet again, 30 years later, when I’m sat in the West Ham end watching Cov. A beautiful story.
You can be in it too. In the West Ham end as well, blowing bubbles! You can be played by you, Bubbles can be played by Ray Winstone.

Going to be a massive away following if we are still in the mix, not sure how many their away end holds?
