It’s not just that though is it

You’ve had people attempting to torch hotels with people inside and the trashing and looting of shops and local businesses

I reckon seeing a few people nicked and charged already will put some off

Not sure about others but I like drenching it in vinegar which would affect the structural integrity of the bread

Heavily buttered bread provides a bit of a barrier against the vinegar. Science.

Torps penalty at Wembley went well under the radar. Top bins, full pelt. The lad backs himself and has the technical ability to follow through

Probably going to try the Rugby club (has a bar and TVs etc) or Screwfix. Apparently the area around the ground has parking but is chaos afterwards.

Apparently screwfix no longer let you park there , unsubstantiated rumour but I read it somewhere
The rugby club is decent but as previously said, getting away is a nightmare
Might be better off going back in there after for a drink to let the traffic die down

Parked at the Rugby club 2 years ago. Home and away fans in there made for a good atmosphere, cheap food and drink, big TV and easy enough to get out after the game. Will be doing the same again this year.

Not worth starting a thread but what the fuck is this absolute drivel on CWR tonight. Why are they broadcasting a pre-season forum with Gary McSheffrey and John Dawkins???

Who will be on the next one? Someone who once served Godden in Tesco?

Yeah McSheffrey claiming that he’s worried because Adi has gone and he played under Robins when we had bad assistants and it wasn’t good…lol

I’m guessing he was more referring to his time with Robins at Doncaster. He can’t have played under Robins for long when he was here?

edit: may have been Scunthorpe

am I the only one that’s just realised the opening Saturday games are all at 12.30??

assume that’s to accommodate the Charity Shield and the later league one kick offs…

means an early start on Saturday I guess

Still in place isn't it. Thought that was the whole reason there's far more games being moved from Saturday 3pm this season
