Will be back in the football league today

Stockport need 1 point

Wrexham will finish top if Stockport lose and they win

Been a horrible journey for Stockport but the last 3 or so years they've started their journey back , the first team we played after premier league relegation in division 1 ?

Missus’ family live in a little village just outside Wrexham and been to one of their games so keep an eye out for them but unfortunately looks like they’re just gonna fall short.

Hopefully they get up through the play offs.

Good to see stockport back in the league. It's been a mad ride for fans of both clubs since that championship opener in 2001. I was there that day too... and whilst no-one likes a smartarse, I was one of the few that was convinced we'd see further relegation before promotion....I was just surprised we clung on the championship football like a zombie for a decade before it happened.

I'd also like to see wrexham back..... if only for the bizarre hooligan scene with tranmere, Chester, TNS and Airbus that I find strangely fascinating

Mum from Wrexham, moved to Cov in 60s, grandad was a bricklayer and helped built a stand back in 50s at The Racecourse ground.
Few of my cousins go to matches and they have been to hell and back last decade or so. Once reach quarter finals of Cup Winners Cup in 70s have a quite an interesting history. Deserve to come back to football league. Getting decent crowds now about 10-12k now they have gone a bit Hollywood.

Personally, I want Notts County or Wrexham to get promoted via the playoffs.

Please to see Stockport back up in L2 after a tough journey.

In the 80s and 90s Stockport played on a Friday night in order to draw in locals who might otherwise go to Maine Rd or Old Trafford. Now City and Utd rarely play at 3pm on a Saturday. I can see Stockport competing to get back to L1 next season.

They had about 8000 turn up yesterday for a celebration in the ground.....not bad for a standard working Monday!

Wrexham just lost out to Grimsby in the play offs in an absolute cracker.

Lost the FA trophy final last and then the playoffs this weekend. Ouch.

I was at wrexham as a neutral today. Cracking game. Ryan reynold’s box was just above my seat - he seems like he actually cares unlike most millionaire owners these days
