After yesterday's second half performance. To be honest I would have been 'purring' if we'd managed just a point. That's the power of football. Have a good Sunday everybody.

probably one of the most potent 2nd half performances by CCFC in many a year,
plus a 10/10 performance by the SBA

It's bigger than the result itself. Belief, confidence and momentum that should follow are huge.

The fact that teams around us (gillingham, sheff Utd,millwall, Southend) all dropped points is huge! Win Tuesday and the gap between us and 7th will be 6pts

Got to credit both teams for yesterday, one of the best games all round Ive seen at the Ricoh in a very very long time. Tbh the fact Peterborough played so open in the 2nd half yesterday looking for the killer 3rd probably contributed to their downfall

TM won that game yesterday, simple as. He should get some credit for the plan B change at H/T

Or he should have deployed it from the start.

I thought exactly that upon reflection yesterday evening. Commendable by Westley in upholding the true spirit of the game by employing positive (time wasting by their GK aside) attacking football? Or just plain naive?

Vincalot said as much in his interview post-match. Words to the effect the whole team now knows we can come back from a first half hammering.

Surely it depends on the setup of the other team, and therefore getting it right first time every time is going to be pretty hard?

Yup. I'd say the positive thing is that at least changes were made. Sometimes, those changes might make us... worse, but it at least shows a bit of dynamic thinking.

Westley chucking on the big fella up front helped us massively he was useless,Martin struggled against the smaller men then dominated this guy when they started lumping it up to him player right into our hands they sat deep so every Martin header was picked up by one of ours to start an attack!

Every manager tries to predict the opponents line up, formation and tactics. Sometimes they don't set up as expected, sometimes it's just down to who is winning their personal battles on the pitch.

At some point you will have to change something or react to the changes made by the other side. Mowbrey got it right.

We can't say what would have happened if he did that. But we do know the actual substitutions and their timing was crucial. Everyone on here was pretty unanimous that Kent should not start, and he didn't.

It's me taking Hills ticket. I usually have a ST but got fed up going on my own towards the end of last season coupled with atrocious football. So like sods law, the start to a season I miss at home, we go unbeaten. Maybe I should stay away ha. In saying that, I'll be purchasing a half ST soon like a proper glory supporter!!
