Any team can beat us at the moment. I think we are bereft of confidence, ideas and identity. If you press us just a little, we'll cough up possession and give up a goal all too easily.

To be fair we could finish 8th and you would be saying people were whining.

I am not wetting the bed, but these bargaining statements are a bit irritating. We need to buck our ideas up.

Probably because we were top with a 13 point gap which is now 3 and we have no momentum while those just below us are on the up. Will you be saying the same when we are second and third?

And about 1.75 ppg required. That's nearly an 80 pt season unless my maths is fucked. We don't look that team just at the moment

see this is fair, if you’d set out (and I’m sure someone did) Leicester, Milwall, Norwich and QPR and said how many points will we take, I’m sure most would’ve said between 7 and 9, so win at the weekend and all is good to a degree

the only issue is the performances recently, which have been pretty average and nothing like early season

saying that thought, even taking 6 points every 4 games puts us on around 83 points, which could be enough….

We've been found out

Too big a gap in midfield for any team in this league to take advantage off and outnumber our defence of the CBs and Grimes

Needs sorting or else we will slip out the top 2

15 points from the next 10 leaves us on 73 with 7 games to go

Its easy to point fingers and say this is where it all went wrong but we went to both Ipswich and Southampton and were the better side, both teams should have had a sending off in the first half as well. Ref bottled the big decisions. Charlton we should have got 3 points, poor finishing and Brau mistake cost us. Fine margins are costing us badly. There is a soft underbelly to this squad, it's been crying out for an all rounder all season.

Massive week for us now. If we beat both QPR and Middlesbrough, things are looking all well and good. If we lose both, we could only be 3 points above 5th. We need a more dynamic midfielder that's able to get the game by the scruff of the neck and take control.

It's been coming for a good while now and the Norwich game made it clear that we are going to fail to get promoted if things carry on the same.
Frank needs desperately to change tactics and be more flexible in games.
Doug needs to bring another quality player in central midfield.

There’s no panic but it’s pointless to keep throwing points down the drain away from home when a simple tactical change would help.

You would think by the melt down we were hovering above the relegation zone. We're still 8 points clear of Ipswich who themselves have a tough run of away games to come in February.

Reading some of the absolute hysterical nonsense on here from grown men has made me open my eyes as to what some our fanbase is like.

We are nowhere near missing out on the autos. Form has been poor but we can still grind out results at home and this form won't last until the end of the season. Boro aren't going to win every game and neither are Ipswich.

There are a fair few on here who actually seem desperate for us to lose so they can moan.

Some people need a reality check.

Nobody would try to say we were not down to the bare bones until 3 games ago. Since then we have signed a couple of good players and our form is won 2 difficult games and lost 1 difficult game. We came close to scoring a few times including hitting the woodwork and their defender doing a great clearance while running towards the goal. Similar stats although our xG was higher. Their first goal somehow squeezed between 2 defenders and the second was a bad mistake by Kitching. These things happen.

Norwich are not the side we played earlier in the season. The new manager and new signings have transformed them. That's now 5 wins in the last 6 games for them this month with 16 goals for and 6 against. Makama is very good and gave us problems all game. 6'5", strong, quick and skillful. Would be a signing I would like if and when we go up.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Norwich get promoted this season. Yes they were in the bottom 3 but they are the form team presently. I'm just glad they're too far behind us to catch us.

Norwich go to Middlesbrough next. It certainly won't be a walk in the park for Middlesbrough. I predict it to end up 6 wins out of 7 for Norwich this month.

QPR next. We're averaging 2 points a game since we could put a good side together with a good bench. It isn't all doom and gloom.
