Another blasted over by Wilson but deemed to have taken a deflection by ref

DAB sucks, following the BBC live text at work as GLR are covering a different match. Well done Leon.

Fewer chances created of late, but still more free kicks being brought by Stevenage. Their tactics suck!

DAB is the same as 'online radio' isn't it, where the coverage goes off.

Half time. 1-0 City. 3 players around ref at half time as he gave a disgraceful decision in favour of Stevenage just before half time; their man put his head down to head the ball, but Wilson went with his foot, as you do in football. As with every other challenge, free kick given to Stevenage.

Over all, with some better finishing from our frot two, we could be 2 or 3 up (at least).

Roll on the second half

Oh and Fishers here! Easier to spot in smaller grounds

And I've just heard someone say a mad hatter has been thrown out. Unsure if true or not!

Here's hoping for an explosion rather than an implosion

Nope you can listen to the game on DAB the same as FM but the sound quality isn't as good and you reception sucks.

Early shot by Christie after a marauding run down the right and a great pass by J Clarke, but shot was weak and wide

What game is this ref at? Give them EVERYTHING yet Wilson beats their defender, took clean out (right in front of us) and waves play on!

Not sure who this ref is, recognise him as being card happy, but he's fucking shite!

Another shot put wide by Clarke. He's trying to place them everytime, but keeps missing (apart from his goal)

I don't like us defending a 1-0 win......

Not created as much second half, but they continue to throw everything at us!

Ref not helped us much mind

Did we get around 1400? If so, I'd say its near that. Prob 1300ish (as they did have a cash turnstile available even after them saying on the website it was ticket only).

Willis on for Barton (strange option IMO but seems to want to go defensive).

Stevenage goalkeeper taking a lot of stick (after a fan held onto the ball and he reacted).

Cov winning away from home and yet at the same time there is a thread with roughly the same amount of interest in a stadium management company pulling out of a law suit against a club 34 miles away from Coventry

The football is becoming a side show these days

Free kick conceded for handball (although had it been in iur favour it wouldn't have been given), taken short and Murphy called into action and saves the shot

Joe Murphy pulls off a brilliant save. Could easily have been 1-1

And now the match thread has two posts about the law suit shenanigans.

You mean my updates are being overshadowed by a withdrawal of a needless court case?

Our free scoring spirit seems to be over? We must find ways of holding onto a lead in situations like this. While Barton has had a decent game say the commentators it's a concern that since he was introduced to the side and bakers return we have gone off the boil?

The only time we've scored more then 2 in a game this season was the 3 games when Baker picked up his suspension.
