Stevenage enjoyed back-to-back promotions into League 1, they only missed out on a 3rd successive promotion into the Championship after being beaten by Sheffield Utd in last season's play offs.

They looked well organised and their heads didn't drop when we took the lead, perhaps because the whole league knows by now that being 1-0 down vs City means fook all. Up front, they had pace, power, and movement. They had far fewer chances, but took more of them.

They have upwards momentum, established from previous seasons, and are unbeaten this season. Their players know how to win on a more consistent basis then us lot and can play consistently throughout games.

City also have momentum, just in the opposite direction. When we lose the lead (4 times already this season), any belief and self confidence just evaporates. We can only play well and with tempo for half a half, pathetic considering these are professional footballers!!

All things considered, today's result wasn't that surprising to me. And that's fooking sad.

I bet Tranmere are licking their lips already. Another unbeaten team, I'll be amazed if we win up there.

Go on City. Surprise me. I dare you.

Gary smith the Stevenage manager should be one to consider, successful in the lower leagues last season took stevenage to the playoff final, well organised team and they have no star players. After all didn't Norwich get beaten by colchester a few years ago took on there manager Paul lambert and they just rose to success

Well luckily we are away and our away record is impressive so of course we must fancy our chances.

Consistency couldn't of been a better word to use, alway's has been our problem and probably will only get worse as time goe's on.
