Wasn't Bristol City's manager Cotterill on a short list for the managers job here in Coventry before Pressley got the nod ? What a great job he's doing there as they are unbeaten and on top of the division.
Makes you think I wonder if he could have done the same here ?

Look at the squad he has and some of the money they spent in the summer though.

I got talking a few seasons back to a couple of Bristol fans in the pub before a game at the Ricoh. they were really excited at going to the Arena and told me they saw us as a huge club and they admitted they were envious at our stadium etc.How things have changed since then !

They were running losses of around £14M to try and stay in the league above ,turnover £11M .


Overall Budget around £25M IIRC ,totally absurd and ran a huge squad, like us till about 3 years ago.

Cotterel though ,the wheels will come off he's a tool.

Has any club been fined etc for breaking FFP rules yet?

Always talk of FFP "coming in soon", but that's been said for last 3 years or so?

For it to be effective it needs to be a big points deduction, they also need to sort out the issue regarding moving between the FL and PL.
