The first episode was very promising. I just hope they can maintain the high standard.

Listened to the audiobook last year, would suggest you get this, great voice acting from one person covering all characters. Didnt realise it was on tv

That looked like Hank out of Breaking Bad there in the trailer, extra kudos.

Watched the 1st episode there, was pretty good.
Was disapointed with the casting of big jim, because hes pretty small and not a larger than life character as he is in the book.

Bizarre casting, key plot points changed, important characters removed, characters that weren't in the book inexplicably added. It might be a good story but Under the Dome it ain't. I'm out.

'Under The Dome' gets UK Channel 5 date

Under the Dome will premiere in the UK later this month on Channel 5, launching on the same night as the Big Brother final.

The first season of the sci-fi series will debut on Monday, August 19 at 10pm.

Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Dean Norris, Natalie Martinez, Britt Robertson and Alexander Koch star in the series, which launched on CBS in America in June.

The show was picked as one of America's 'Most Exciting New Series' at the Critics' Choice Television Awards, and has been a ratings hit for the broadcaster during the summer.

It has also already been picked up for a second season by CBS.

By the sixth episode it had become a very predictable soap-opera.
