Oh fuck i got the wrong striker.It was on a poster board outside my local Martins newsagents.It just said in big letters"Rangers free striker to Join Canaries" today and i put two and two together.I've had a shit day today and this sums it up.

Whittaker was only confirmed on the Norwich official site today so it could be him but then it doesn't make sense if it said striker.

Thought it was worth mentioning that Elliott played the full 90 mins in the Scottish Cup Final so must have been reasonably rated by Hearts. Also, the link below shows one of his goals at Sunderland, he obviously had something about him when he was younger. Whilst his recent goals record is poor he may just need a new start (he may also be useless but we won't find out for a month or two...) and at least it is a player coming in the right direction..
