If theres anything in it ,Ethutu gone there ,and they reckon they're in the chase for Norwood,so even though he only signed for them in Jan guess they're moving on and up .Did he play against us this season.

Hope it is not for a fee, I would rather two freebies than paying a fee for one player. We need numbers

Sounds plausible. We only appear to buy Irish players these days. Boothroyd bought ROD, O'Halloran, Keogh and Deegan for starters.

Deegan brought in by Boothroyd? He's been here much longer than that

Perhaps I got that one worng but the others definitely were. Also Bell and Murphy are Irish of course. We do appear to have more than our likely share of Irish players. Not saying it's either a good or bad thing - just an observation. A bit like how we had loads of Scots under Wee Gordon.

Coleman bought him and Keogh is about as Irish as me - born in Harlow - a plastic paddy.

Stephen dawson doesn't appear to be on the pfa transfer list. I can't see us paying for anyone, so maybe he's a part-ex for someone Barnsley want?

Yeah, a few people use it on here. Sounds odd, doesn't it?

Stephen Dawson was on my class right through school. Sadly I don't have a phone number to give him a call but I can try to find out if there is anything to this. He only signed for Barnsley last year so I cannot see us spending money, so unless it's a p/ex deal. He was nicknamed "Stephen Awesome" at Bury, he would be an asset in L1. Just the kind of MF we need, workhorse.
