Once his heads turned, I imagine we'll be looking at £10M.Probably about 25M tbh, as we'd have to seek a ready made replacement whether we went up or not as a lot of our play is based around our midfield?
Assuming we could get that sorted, I think last night's match shows we need to break the bank on bringing a striker in in the summer, probably about 30M if we go up, 12-15M if we don't.
We’ll offer you Jamie Allen in a swap deal plus cash thenProbably about 25M tbh, as we'd have to seek a ready made replacement whether we went up or not as a lot of our play is based around our midfield?

Isn’t this where all of your play is and where you take all your shots at goal from?a lot of our play is based around our midfield?
A hell of a lot of it, yes.Isn’t this where all of your play is and where you take all your shots at goal from?
Not a chance. Forest offered more than that and their offer was ridiculousOnce his heads turned, I imagine we'll be looking at £10M.
Nah, you're alright mate. We’ll offer you Jamie Allen in a swap deal plus cash then
It looks like it'll end up costing them promotion. In all seriousness @Ipad Boro, you have been crying out for a big number 9 and it should have got done in Jan really.
Won't he be going into the last year of this contract? The chance of playing PL football under Lampard would be too much to turn down. Not a chance. Forest offered more than that and their offer was ridiculous
Depends if we play too low block for him. He will want to move to a team that matches the Hellball flair.Won't he be going into the last year of this contract? The chance of playing PL football under Lampard would be too much to turn down.
It could well do. I all fairness I don't know who'll be going up with you, aside from Millwall no side seems to want to?It looks like it'll end up costing them promotion.

If we end up in the playoffs then it will depend who we're up against. If it's Saints, Ipswich and Wrexham, I'd fancy our chances.
If it's Millwall, Bristol and Hull, not a sniff.
Nah, you're alright mate.
Or perhaps a newly promoted oneI'd back you least against Wrexham of those 3 & surprised you've included them in that category. They're low-block merchants away from home and are very good in big games at home
If you fail Hackney will end up at a established mid-table prem side - Everton springs to mind
Man U are admirers of him, he'd be more likely to want to go there than anywhere else tbh.Won't he be going into the last year of this contract? The chance of playing PL football under Lampard would be too much to turn down.
Doubt he'd go there. He's alright but midtable Prem is his ceiling atm.Man U are admirers of him, he'd be more likely to want to go there than anywhere else tbh.
At the moment it is.Doubt he'd go there. He's alright but midtable Prem is his ceiling atm.
I think you can rest easy on the threat from the scrumpy drinkers. It could well do. I all fairness I don't know who'll be going up with you, aside from Millwall no side seems to want to?

I think Hackney has the potential to be a real top talent, he seems sensible and if he leaves it will be for a club that don't dice with relegation, unlike Hamer going to Blades. The fee would probably be the highest paid for a player that was bought from a club not being relegated from the Prem. I would love to sign him but I don't think he would be the type you need to survive if you are being promoted and the 20+ million could be better spent. You just have to look at how Dewsbury Hall has developed at Everton as a cue to what he should consider if he doesn't make it this season, you can always kick on to a top club after. I don't mind either you or Millwall going up though as we seem to have the hoodoo on you both.At the moment it is.
But he'd relish the chance to develop himself and fight for his place from the bench. Mid-table Prem was Morgan Rogers' ceiling when he left for Villa. Surrounded by better players and with better opponents to play against he'd likely improve.
Yes those 3 with some physicality from overseas would be great.Hughes, rushworth and hackney would be 3 I’d love to get, great potential. Think we’ll go back in for hughes this summer if we’re in the prem and hull won’t be able to stop it
Yeh dunno if that's a statement signing but I agree we'll go back in.Hughes, rushworth and hackney would be 3 I’d love to get, great potential. Think we’ll go back in for hughes this summer if we’re in the prem and hull won’t be able to stop it

Would like an experienced prem player in there though. Either in at CDM or CB.
Adam Webster would be good.Onyeka is already here and signing if /when we go up that will be the experienced prem CDM
Agree with the prem quality CB thou
I imagine that ourselves and Millwall both going up, one through the autos, one through the playoffs, wouldn't matter which way round, would be best from a Cov point of view with survival in mind.I think Hackney has the potential to be a real top talent, he seems sensible and if he leaves it will be for a club that don't dice with relegation, unlike Hamer going to Blades.
