Higher than that. We'll stick relegation clauses in because Doug isn't a complete moron, unlike the Leicester owner, but in the Prem it will be more the £50k easily.

Seeing the impact of xhaka at Sunderland, I think one or two old heads surrounded by young talent is a good options. Robertson fits the bill perfectly, but will have other offers I’d imagine. Stones definitely out of reach. What about Milner? Too old?

I’d even argue we don’t even bother talking about potential wages. If we are serious about staying up (not joking) we need to pay whatever the going rate is.
