You know when i started supporting this club, the CBS has always been over our heads.

From league one, to Sixfields, to league two, to Birmingham.

I’m so emotional, gonna need to buy several beers to calm down.

Thank you everyone involved, finally it’s over

Actually feel a little emotional!

20 years of mainly pain and the club almost going out of existence.

Doug king, this is your legacy now, regardless of whatever happens now.

for that, always grateful.

My theory (based off nothing but a hunch) is Cashley is interested in Sheff Wednesday and as a result happy to cut ties with The CBS

Great news for the club…

Also makes it far more attractive to outside investors or new buyers if Doug is looking to sell…

Just unreal.
People moan about the club being quite about what they are doing. Its times like this we are grateful.

Yeah same here, I looked a proper weirdo when I started shouting “HELL YEAH” when the email came through and while the car was getting cleaned

Sat thinking about it now though I’ve been (like so many others) to Northampton and Birmingham to watch the club after they left Highfield Road and got booted out the Arena, now knowing the club owns the stadium and its long term future is secure is just an emotion I can’t put into words.

I'm almost at a loss for words. I never thought we'd see this. After all those years, the shit with ACL, Northampton and Birmingham, the deal with a certain Rugby club. And now, after all that, it's ours at long last.

What a historic day this is.

DK has forever cemented himself as a hero and legend for the club.
What he's achieved in 3 years on the field and now off it too is astounding.

Four of us travelling up for the match from Hampshire today, looking forward to a fantastic atmosphere and 3 points.

‘The stadium, which marks the record transfer fee paid in the club’s history, has been registered with the EFL in time for this afternoon’s game against QPR. The stadium has been assigned the shirt number 69 and is expected to start in the centre of defence on a permanent basis.’

Emotional. What fantastic news. Fuck the transfer business, this usurps anything else.

Northampton, Birmingham, Burton. Fines, point deductions, missing out on revenue - no more. I think if anyone still had any lingering doubts in Doug, this should be the final nail in that coffin. I can’t be at the CBS today but I hope everyone who is takes the roof off regardless of the result.

Does it include the casino, hotel and car parks?

If not they can forget it!

I’ve just shed a few tears reading that. Hats off to Doug. I’ll say thank you by starting to buy a few drinks and stuff now the income will be going to the club.

How must it feel to be Doug? King of Coventry!
