Wasn’t sure what they are going to be used for… will it be like Arsenal and be waved after each goal. For QPR staff would have needed a week of physiotherapy to recover.

It's just used pre game isn't it?

Serie a clubs so it all the time. When the game starts they are out away so people near the front can see

Good addition from us

I think they were held by ball boys/girls. It wouldn't surprise me if they ask for volunteers to use them in the future and wave them when we score.

Another thing about the Ballboys/girls, anyone noticed they are a lot older now. I think Frank's had a word, they give the ball back much quicker and I noticed the other night in front of me B22 that the ballboy left the ball for the Sheff Utd player to retrieve instead.

Noticed that MVE never takes the ball in use when taking a throw, always takes the one from the cone. Not sure if someone had a word but on Tuesday they ball boys / girls were getting that one and drying it for him.

Not sure if there are similar EFL fines, but fk 'em!

Not much segregation yesterday behind the goal, in fact just a row of stewards and police. We need to do the same.

The issue is the stairway for the stewards to stand rather than the amount of space.

Not unless you pull out seats or give away fans about 1500 tickets.

Superstition or much drier. Does it on a dry pitch, although most grounds are watered pre-match now.

I think it must be superstition, he does it even if it's dry and the ball in use is much closer than the one on the cone.

If you ever watch any of the Bayern Munich games, they are always waving the big flags during the game in the Crowd, imagine standing behind one of them, you wouldn't be able to see any of the game.

The flag waving happens a lot in Thai football especially at Port FC's home games in the zone where I stand ie zone B. To be honest it's irritating as it blocks the view of many fans. Lucky only two flags yesterday than the usual 6/8 in zone B yesterday.

I love how they look but was saying to the missus when we were watching some Dutch football with them that it must be annoying to be behind them an they’ve always got to go at the front cos of their size.

The Dutch are tall people. At Thai football they usually have some drummers too but yesterday for the game against Bangkok Utd FC there were no drummers .

My missus says she enjoyed moving over here cos she’s below average Dutch height so was always seen as small but here she’s above average and people ask her to reach stuff.

I watched a game in Germany last season, on the terrace behind the goal. Flags waving for 90 minutes and it was absolute shite, completely different football experience.

If you're in to it then it's great, standing behind the goal, beers flowing and good atmosphere but see maybe 1/5 of the game if your lucky.
