Does anyone actually know what we are paying rent for? For example someone from the ACL side was on the TV recently pointing out that just the undersoil heating was costing 5k a day and it was running all week.
Do we just pay a rent fee and the ACL pay the running costs i.e. cleaning, maintenance, insurance, utilities etc.?
But hopefully your landlord doesn't rent your house out to other people while you're living in it! CCFC use the pitch no more than 30 days a year, there's nothing stopping ACL making use of it the rest of the time, as they did with the Olympics, rugby etc, so why should CCFC be the only ones sholdering the running costs?
Surely the city never foot the bill for the Olympics or the rugby when it held there? Never heard it said that they did...
Like people have said on other threads. A simple solution is a base rate depending on what league we are in and a sliding scale on top depending on attendance. Both share in the success
