Why can't the minutes be a verbatim record of what is said? Sweeping remarks such as 'general discussions were had about Sixfields' with no further comment make these meetings appear as token gestures to give the appearance of something constructive.

Yes all very vague.

Did they say something like nobody is allowed to tape these meetings? I don't understand why that would be a problem if it is supposed to be allowing frank discussion with the fans. Streaming it on the net would be of great benefit to supporters who can't get there.

Can't work out how to put the pdf file on but at least the 46 months is now clear as 4-6 months. I have my own thoughts on the reality of the new stadium as I think it is a complete sham

Check for a spark at the plug and make sure fuel is getting through. A bit of easy start sprayed in the carb wouldn't go a miss.

Fair play Sandra has noted that the minutes have been posted and wanted me to clarify that the 46 months is a mistake and should indeed be 4-6 months. She will send an updated version later and I have said I will post them. Still feel we are all being deceived by our owners

as well as clarifying that 46 months is a mistake, could she also clarify that our move to Northampton is a mistake

That would be because, like we have seen with the SCG, the people running the club want to surround themselves with a select bunch of fans who agree with their crackpot ideas. Dissenting opinions from the vast, vast majority are unwelcome and inviting such people to the meetings would quickly show this stadium process to be the farce it really is. They really are surrounding themselves with 'Yes men'.

If recording of these meetings were allowed they wouldn't be able to say that they have been misquoted

One point stood out to me. Our head groundsman has seen the plans. The last I heard our head groundsman had left our club. So if they have promoted a groundsman to head groundsman it means that we have at least another groundsman. Their job must be hard work considering we don't have a ground for them to look after :thinking about:

What I do not understand is why has SG agreed to do this, she is obviously an intelligent lady, surely she must know this is never going to happen. She is going to look like a very silly person when this all falls flat. But I suppose she can add a good report to the FL showing that the fans are behind the concept.

I chuckled at that part. Nice work if you can get it.

I don't want to be her apologist simple simon. She would say she is acting in a personal capacity and that she wouldn't take part in something misleading. You are right though.

Think it is a sideshow to the jr

We probably need to do a petition to the football league to combat their bullshit forum report ?

You're all missing a point- they make it sound like they're opening an amusement park by comparing how affluent the area around each site is, which firstly ignores the fact that better off fans are more likely to be able to travel to the other site for games, and secondly- they seem to regard fan support as transient, and can somehow generate an infinite level of new support despite burning their bridges and alienating 90% of their fans.

If it was all that simple, why didn't ccc/acl start a new team and put them in the Ricoh, instead of keeping the door ajar for the ungrateful shitsu...?
