She has no "current" arrangement apparently. But has in the past

The stadium could be planned for the moon but these attendees would still only debate what colour the seats should be.
Everyday new depths are reached for this business scandal and everyday I feel powerless and loose a little more interest.
My club is critically and Sisu adjust the curtains whilst it dies.

Typical no bollocks reaction we expected. sisu said so it must be right.......

Gutless need to probe them like people tried at the other forums no point in going and just listening to the same old drivel from a clown.

Unbiased view.......... @stevecarpo: #SkyBlues fans wanting answers will not get them at the stadium forum - very much an ideas meeting - relaxed & positve atmosphere tonight...

Are you blind, how is it independent?

Sandra Garlick - not a season ticket holder, a consultant paid by SISU. And a sponsor of the club at Sixfields.
Phil Osborne - not a season ticket holder, an architectural consultant paid by SISU.
Eleanor Deeley - not a season ticket holder, a property consultant paid by SISU.

And a set of fans who are in the minority of the fanbase that go to Sixfields..

It is a biased forum of the compliant minority led by paid consultants.

Sandra Garlick is just another SISU puppet. Her company have sponsored games at Sixfields.

Well her only explanation/evidence she was willing to say (per the Telegraph) was why would they go to all this trouble if they weren't serious. That's a bit like when my girlfriend comes home and asks why I've gone to the trouble of clearing my Internet history. Maybe we're both hiding something.

I really couldn't give a shit what it looks like or what's in the fanzone, it won't be in Coventry and that's all that matters to me. The meeting sounds as though it was attended by people who think we can go back to the good old days of HR and officials who don't know jack shit about anything that's going on. Coventry City in Coventry, not too much to ask for surely. If this modular monstrosity ever becomes a reality you can count me out, will that matter to anyone?, I think not.

If everything go's to plan I'd expect, pretty soon. Maybe 6 to 8 weeks, you know how long all these legal things take. How frustrating buying or selling a house is, well a football stadium is even more complicated - RFC (about 3 weeks ago)

If only you would make your mind up. With your prediction of weeks, you are beginning to sound like someone else we all know and hate who likes to makes silly predictions of things in weeks

Worst thing for me is that if we had legitimate owners and they were talking about building a new stadium IN Coventry, that was owned by the club and had listened to what the fans wanted etc. I'd be the first person to support it. Just a pity the whole thing's a fucking joke, even if they managed to secure land and planning permission outside of Cov the club would have lost so many supporters during that time, that it wouldn't be able to survive anyway.

Like I say. I don't think she's in cahoots with Fisher. More that she's a genuine fan who believes in the project. They do exist.

Really not not sure how or when people would've asked. It was made clear from the start we couldn't talk location as none of them knew it.

Bit worrying if the CBRE person didn't know where it was.

the pictures of the ground make it look about the size of the emirates but in reality its the size of rotherhams. so not a very representative artist impression imo

I am very happy for you. I wish I could put faith in someone that has done to our fans what SISUE has, got us relegated into division 3, admitted that they know nothing about football and constantly gave us bullshit.

Do you honestly think that our club is safe in their hands?

You must know which 2 local authorities sisu have been taking to then. Care to share that info? We already know which ones they aren't talking too, the surrounding one's.

Just got out of frankly a rather dull meeting.

Just a few thoughts:

Garlick seems to hate the Ricoh.

CBRE lady seemed to be reading prewritten script and looked shit scared.

Architect guy seemed confident.

Crowd was quite old, fairly sparse. Capacity was mostly discussed, with a few saying too small but guy saying he hates how big the Ricoh is getting biggest round of applause.

Point was raised about devisiveness of a ST only meeting, Ms Garlick disagrees (she'd get on very well with Fisher, is a graduate of the same charm school IMO).

Architect says plan is modular, 12>15>20-25k but site allows further expansion to say 30k by enlarging the envelope. Highways planning for final capacity would need granting at first stage so no hitches. Capacity upgrade would take roughly 6-9 months with that stadium "still playable".

Very early stages, CBRE woman won't give time until planning app, but a year is a reasonable time. None of this is slow she says, all standard business practice.

We will get input on interior decoration, what we want in the "fans zone" (And here was me thinking the whole stadium was a fans zone) in terms of which pie and pint stands we want. Kept going on about how we were never consulted about the Ricoh.

Was a very weird atmosphere. Location was claimed to be unknown by all 3. Questions were either unanswerable or drivel about wanting the tunnel to come out near the fans.

Garlick claims it's her forum and the club will be invited in later , though a CCFC employee seemed to be checking names on the door, she wet to great lengths to say he has no current commercial relationship with the club. There as a fan.

Oh and a couple of pissed off old chaps in City tops were sat outside moaning about not being allowed in, Valiant?

Was all a bit weird.

Ricoh too big? This I find very surprising and also rather narrow minded too.

We got promotion to the Championship (and this surely has to be the plan doesn't it?), then the Rich would not be too big for us.

A successful team on the pitch would regularly pull in crowds of 20,000+ and for big games we would be pretty close to capacity.

And upgrade? Yeah, the stadium may well be still 'playable' but seems like they forgot to mention that this would be at a vastly reduced capacity while the work was being carried out!

Resorting to name calling usually means your point of view has been defeated in the argument.

Surely even you dont believe the money changers will build a new stadium now after the foi requests?

This is laughable. She (Garlick) might or might not be paid by SISU, but she's certainly been duped.

This so called forum is nothing more that a publicity stunt to buy more time with the football league.

Believe me, SISU aren't going to spend any serious money on a new stadium. Anybody who thinks they are is quite frankly stupid.

I've no idea when all this is going to end, but it will do one day and they'll be at least 70 people with egg on their collective faces.

Point of order - Sandra Garlick isn't being paid and she's not a sponsor.

I'll leave it to the readers to decide how independent it is though.

Nobody representing the club was there tonight.

Nobody representing the club was on the panel or took part in the discussions, to be more precise.

Sandra did say board members, players and the manager would be invited to future meetings to answer questions and provide input.

So what does it hope to achieve?

Does she think it is relevant when the club have yet to have serious conversations about planning permission or bought any land.

Maybe when that happens it would be a good idea to set up a group.

You would have to ask her that. As per quotes - she believes it will be built and so wants fans to have an input.

I'm not saying it will or will not be built.
