No more than about 12-13k at the very most I'd suggest

those two hold 17,000, probably only about 9,000 home fans plus the away section

They sold 2000 to Stoke fans.

I can't see them giving that many away for the next home fixtures.

from wiki - The Kop Stand and the Tilton Road Stand, opened in 1994, form a continuous L-shaped single-tier stand, with seating capacity for nearly 17,000 spectators, round the remaining half of the pitch.

Total is 29k so yes around 12-13k WOW

its less than that, the railway end is limited, and segregation.

it’s a terrible situation, they’re going to have to move season ticket holders and tell some season ticket holders they can’t go at all- refunds etc

The ground has been in a mess for a while. I remember Birmingham fans saying that the stadium will never hold 29k again unless serious improvements are made.

Even when we were there, the facilities were dreadful. It flooded most weeks. Toilets far too small. Concourse tiny.

It’s a sham - they’ve been selling them tickets for their stands knowing it might not be safe/able to fulfil it

Would be ironic if the favour was reciprocated, i.e. : Blues play here until their situation is resolved.

That's unfortunate that as soon as they can have fans back, they can't have fans back.

Surely should've sorted it though over lockdowns/no fans.

“Club can't afford the repairs as it is being sued by Birmingham City Council for highly recommending the stadium contractor be used to lay the Metro tracks, which have turned to jelly after 5 years”

they’ve got more season ticket holders than they have seats now, what a mess

Could there be a genuine possiblity of them playing at the Ricoh?

Some of their fans are certainly suggesting it. Would seem pointless replacing 10/11k at St Andrews with a similar if not smaller number travelling to Coventry?

At the moment they say it’s only for 2 games - much longer and they might have to look elsewhere

I have a suggestion - Blues & Wasps swop stadium’s.
10k of paying Wasps supporters is a good week! So Stans would be fine .
Secondly, the Arena pitch can be maintained for the beautiful game .... rather than the ploughed field the egg chasers create

Quite a few grounds in the vicinity, if they were willing.

They wouldn't play at Villa. Solihull far too small. Alexandra is being redeveloped for the Commonwealth games. Wasps would be creaming themselves over another bit of cash in their empty pockets.

I can't see this only being for 2 games, I think the problems are far far more serious that need to be resolved.

Hawthorns, Wanderers

If CBS was ours would only be natural to reciprocate, however 3 teams won't fit.

Isn’t Walsall’s ground smaller than St Andrews even at restricted capacity?

Birmingham don’t own St. Andrews they sold it to a third party and now they rent it I’m sure I seen at £1.3million a season but might be wrong there.
