The club only need to provide enough seats to meet the numbers of season tickets sold, I believe. I read something along those lines when we were linked with a move to Hinckley a few months ago. Walsall has capacity for what, 8000 home seats?

no point people getting worked up about something that hasn't happened. SISU may well offer transportation to any other ground at least for this season and refunds for those that can't make it. think what happens to ST holders who can't make a game is not likely to be at the top of the priority list at the moment!

Don't Walsall pay more than £400k rent?

That would really be a contradiction of the whole thing if we agreed to pay a stupid amount for the final few games!

Segregation would be no problem - home fans behind one goal, away fan behind the other.

Fro BBC News

Coventry say the club will continue to operate "as normal" despite a subsidiary company being placed in administration.

The League One club and owners SISU are due in the High Court on Friday amid claims they owe £1.3m in unpaid rent to the owners of their Ricoh Arena home.

Arena Coventry Limited (ACL), who manage the Ricoh Arena, want the football club placed in administration - a penalty which usually carries a 10-point deduction under Football League rules.

On the eve of the hearing, though, a statement on behalf of Coventry City Football Club (Holdings) Ltd appeared on the club's official website announcing a "property subsidiary" was already in the hands of administrators.

The statement read: "It is important to stress that the football club itself is not under threat.

"This is merely a property subsidiary which owns no material assets and has no employees, on or off the pitch.

"The Club can confirm that all staff wages, PAYE and all other creditor commitments will continue to be met as before by Coventry City Football Club Holdings.

"Unlike other instances of clubs being taken either wholly or partially into administration, there are no HMRC or VAT implications and the Football Club will continue to trade as normal without interruption.

"Our main objective now is to remain competitive on the pitch and give Steven Pressley and the playing staff our full backing and commitment."

Pressley, whose side are three points off a play-off place, earlier said: "I desperately hope that we find a solution and we can continue challenging for those potential play-off places."

I believe that the owner of Walsall FC has offered to sell the club. Maybe Sisu will buy them and close them down renaming CCFC, WC FC.... Wait....

it does not make sense financially. It would alienate the fans further. It would be a disaster. So, clearly, SISU are bound to do it....

Lets be very serious now. Where has anyone other than Sky who merely assume we could be kicked out for not paying the rent stated we will not be playing at the Ricoh.

Despite the non-payment of rent ACL are contracted to Compass who make a lot of money from food and beverages, so it would not be in there interest to evict CCFC. They might deny access to SISU Board members but doubt if they would alienate CCFC itself.

We have continually been told on here that CCFC have been holding ACL back with the money they could make, surely they would make 100 times more profit without ccfc there?

I agreed with all the above, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WHAT IS GOING ON AT OUR FOOTBALL CLUB?????

Football clubs no longer exist, so remove that term and insert BUISNESS and you'll be nearer the mark. This sorry ass tale is all about money, it has absolutely nothing to do with football and everyone involved in this debacle should hang their heads in shame this morning.
