You normally leave the main numbers free if they're earmarked for someone, so either that's a cause for optimism or just the tiumph of hope over experience.
This must be one of the smallest squads we have ever had, even allowing for Pressley's hope of signing another 7 players. Bearing in mind that several of the squad are recent Academy players and therefore lack experience even at this level, then it does not bode well for the trials and tribulations of a long season.

I make that the players we have who have appeared in at least 50 league matches (Adams, Thomas and possibly Wilson aren't too far away with between 30-45 kind of numbers between them)
So, with only one Centre Back in the squad and the possibility that we may not be able to recruit any more whats the chances of Steven Pressley registering himself as a player again. :thinking about:
Am I missing something? Baker Top Scorer Award? Leon Clarke takes up the number nine shirt, Blair Adams takes the number three with Carl Baker retaining the number eight shirt he wore last season on his way to the club Top Scorer award as well as Player and Players' Player of the Season gongs.
