Not a massively popular number, granted, but 24 has been kept free.

I recon he is firist choice, for some reason quite a few players choose 23, David Beckham did. I think it might be because it was Michael Jordans number in the 90s

Wasn’t Strachan number 24 at one point. No idea why I remember that.

Edit: It was Cobi Jones. Easy mistake to make.

Yep, this is 100% true and will be the reason behind Dabo choosing 23. I fully expect him to be first choice.

Surprised Hyam kept 15 too, I assumed he'd step into 5. I assume that must be a personal preference too.

I think its a case of if you've got it you get to keep it then first come first served.

Disappointed Baka couldn't get 20 though.

So was I - after 2 at Charlton I thought he'd kick on, but was frankly disappointing for the rest of the season

I always assumed Charlie Wakefield was on loan last season, had no idea he's joined us.

I always prefer a defensive midfielder wearing 4 rather than a centre-back. Proper old-school innit.

I think we’ve got to assume the older U23s without numbers will either move on or go on loan... Addai, maycock and Thompson being the obvious ones... thought Bremang would get one on the basis Walters has
