The harsh economics is that for every kid’s ticket sold, there is lost revenue compared to an adult ticket. Of course, if it isn’t full, and people don’t bring their kids, then the pricing could backfire but I understand why it is priced as it is.Moaning about the pricing for kids isn't trying to have it both ways.
And personally, I've never once asked for King to put his hand in his pocket.
Depends how QPR is funded by owners. So how come qpr can offer kids free with an adult ticket and adults under 25 quid against palace ... do they not want new players ?
They probably have a higher wage bill than we do .Depends how QPR is funded by owners.
WowI suppose it could be muted that Doug King is first and foremost a businessman. He’s not a football person and he’s not even a Sky Blue, so from his perspective and the accountants he will be consulting he will see this as a one off opportunity to make as much money as possible to finance the football club. As for keeping the kids on board , I’m guessing he’s not looking that far into future.
I don’t reckon Spurs will weaken their side that much either, they’re hardly winning many trophies every season now.
I’m sure there will be upwards of 28000 in attendance!
That’s up to QPR how they operate. Without the data to hand, DK has clearly identified fraud in the kids ticket prices that the club is trying to stamp out.So how come qpr can offer kids free with an adult ticket and adults under 25 quid against palace ... do they not want new players ?
So we should be charging more after all they will be playing CovTo be fair mate, their under 18 ST holders are 30 quid in some areas and they get to watch Bologna , bayern Munich and juventus
Obviously I mean for this one off game as far as the kids.
This is absolutely right - Doug King’s only aim is to achieve promotion and then sell at a chunky profit.I suppose it could be muted that Doug King is first and foremost a businessman. That's got nothing to do with this match , the club have already dealt with people abusing the system, that's been and goneThat’s up to QPR how they operate. Without the data to hand, DK has clearly identified fraud in the kids ticket prices that the club is trying to stamp out.
Again, 20-25% of STHs being concessions was inflated and being abused. The club is trying to improve its commercial footing and the bigger picture is that our ticketing policy is actually quite reasonable.
Old enough to murder old enough to attend, kids are gimmes I mean gimmicks!,old enough to be exploited!(All the games are on Sky in the Carabao
It’s not been and gone at all as it’s not the kind of thing you fix over night. That's got nothing to do with this match , the club have already dealt with people abusing the system, that's been and gone
It’s not been and gone at all as it’s not the kind of thing you fix over night.
It’s a policy that requires continuous monitoring and policing. Look at how they’ve locked in people into buying certain category tickets for away games.
Definitely cracking down on loopholes.
There's a clear divide here between people who think it's fine, or at least to be expected, and some people who have kids.
There's not exactly an argument to be won is there.
If nobody buys the tickets, do the prices go down?Maybe Doug can get us set up with this
English football will face 'enormous opposition' over dynamic pricing - as two Spanish sides adopt controversial system
It comes after the huge controversy surrounding the sale of tickets for next year's reunion shows by Oasis - where dynamic pricing saw tickets worth £148 being sold for £355 within hours of release.news.sky.com
I suppose we’re just lurching from outrage to outrage now.
I’ve got no issue with it. Probably the best/biggest team we’ll play all season and the chance of a very memorable result.
Welcome to the Prem and welcome if you're after a kid's tuff, the lifeblood of the club abandoned, the harsh law's of economics!Well no , the people arguing with fans that it's great I'm assuming don't take kids .
I'd think every game was great if I only spent 30 quid on tickets too

Yep, it’s an outrage and ‘something for nothing’ culture now. £20 for an U18 is a bit steep but what’s a ‘reasonable’ price for this game? £15? £10? £5?I suppose we’re just lurching from outrage to outrage now.

With it being a night game, there won’t be many U10s at the match anyway.
What is the season ticket price for a child outside the FZ?
I paid 350 total for my 2 aged 14 and 11What is the season ticket price for a child outside the FZ?
