Bassette and Eccles were immense.
Allen was great but ran himself into the ground.
Wilson made a couple of great saves.
Bidwell played well as well.

Bassette, Eccles, Rudoni and Wilson the top performers. Think Norman has to start on Saturday.
Wright loses a point because he should've scored. Everyone else very solid.
Nobody stood out as having a poor game. But it's clear Sheaf needs more time before he can start.

Agree by and large. Eights all round with 9 for Eccles, Rudoni, Bidwell and Wilson. Wright looked tired but still looked like he carried a threat. Bassette and Thomas-Asante showed they are very good additions. Allen dispelled the myth that he can’t contribute at this level. My nerves scream Row Z please at times but on balance I support the Robins mantra of being brave on the ball. We really need EMC to score and I think he’ll shed his imposter syndrome and take off.

Simms -2 he was fucking awful, his lack of effort to chase anything down meant everything just came back and put us under so much pressure

I'd agree with the subs scores and that cost us, as well as Spurs stepping up their quality.

Thought Mason-Clarke did well when he came on , was unlucky not too score and gave Bidwell decent cover in front of him

I’m not complaining at all . Just glad it never got to pens . Everyone of them was immense and showed the footballing world just how good we can be . Now let’s put this to one side and concentrate on the league. #PUSB & bring on the swans

I'd agree with every one of them.

Also did anyone clock Wright gobbing off at Bassette at one point?

Wright was shocking and after his miss he was just ball greedy when he could have laid it off.

Ridiculous. He was unlucky not to have 2 assists in 20 minutes in a team that was on the defensive.

Eccles was superb, Thomas looked classy. Everyone else did pretty good.

He's been a weird watch this season so far .
Was absolutely sensational against Oxford but looked disinterested at times since

Ran out of steam and the necessary changes killed us. Allen the obvious one to take off especially on a booking but he's less likely to start Saturday and needed to give Eccles a rest. Thought we were mostly excellent all over bar a few sloppy bits. MVE unusually guilty of some poor distribution a few times, outstanding couple of saves from Wilson. Think harsh on BTA, he was defending at times and worked really hard. I'd go 7s Allen and MVE, 9s for Eccles and Bassette, 8s everyone else who started. Subs a bit off it but hard to get into it at that stage with the pattern of the game.

Hopefully no injuries, certainly not embarrassed by a top team again and can take heart that we can compete. Play like that v Swansea and we get 3 points.

Also, what happened when Bidders went through and their keeper came out? Looked a foul to me but no card free kick or penalty and difficult to see from where I sit at the other end.

This team is spluttering into gear now. 2 pleasing performances in a row.
I thought MVE looked knackered by 70 mins, and he was slow to react for the first goal. I know we had an 18 year old RB on the bench, but if he’s on the bench then use him.
Should have also swapped Kai Andrews for Jamie Allen who also looked tired, and was culpable for Spurs’first goal.
Wilson sold himself for the winner too, should have dived towards the ball.

MOM - Eccles
Rudoni, Bidwell, Bassette and MVE all excellent.

Think the Referee in all fairness may have played a good advantage there-isn’t that when Wright half heartedly shot at goal instead of leathering it and a defender slid in and cleared?

Happy with 90% of that game. All players worked extremely hard. If there was a disappointment it was Milan’s defensive positioning at times; ball watching and loses man. Apart from last few mins can’t fault the players all 7s with Bidwell, Rudoni (8) Wilson 8 also but crucial hesitation for their second.

Thought he should have lifted it. Their player already committed and sliding on ground.

Despite going close with two attempts on goal, one of which EMC could have got on the end of.

It's well known i don't rate Eccles but he was a mountain tonight...need more of that.

Think Nick was right we didn't go down...play the game but overall outstanding effort from the lads....things will click soon and teams are going to get smashed

MVE is looking knackered after 70 minutes in most games now. Worrying.

I am not keen on Eccles either but he was very good last night, superb long ball for Bertie too, he didn't really give the ball away either and playing against prem players too, if he played like that every game he would definitely become a fans favourite...up to you Josh keep up the great work.

Defender pushed Bidwell outside of penalty area and then got clattered by his goalie. Ref played a good advantage that we didn't take.
