7-2 down to Bayern.

Poch may decide to move on ASAP I reckon. Spurs seem to have peaked and that team might be dismantled soon.

Wonder if there's something in the rumours going around about a big split in the camp after a fall out between Eriksen and Vertonghen?

Out of last year’s top 6 only Liverpool and Man Oil have kept their form going. Would be nice if Klopp could finally land the title this time

Of course I decided to watch the Man City match instead, an absolute borefest by comparison. Sounds like Spurs just rolled over second half. Gnabry scored 4 himself.

Bayern looked like they were going to score every time they went forward.

Spurs were appalling, kept giving the ball away and didn’t seem that bothered they were getting embarrassed.

I believe Vertonghen was trying to get with Eriksens missus, allegedly and Kane gave Verty a black eye too!

Just caught the highlights. Spurs looked completely outclassed, no answer at all to what Bayern threw at them. It looked more like a qualifying round game than a group stage game. Miles between the two.

However, it's nice to note that 3 out of the 4 goals from Tottenham and Man City were scored by English players.

Heard a similar though slightly different story.
Heard Vertonghen did get with Eriksens missus.
Eriksson gave him the shiner.
Kane has tried to smooth it over but the dressing room is deeply divided. Could be all bullshit however.

not aimed specifically at you

just haters in general

Haters? What are you, Taylor Swift?

PL clubs are given gigantic cash sums by TV which constantly peddles the ‘best league in the world’ even when it’s Burnley v Watford. Does it mean I wouldn’t want CCFC to get a slice of course not

not really absurd to be best in world equation when current champions league and europa league winners and runners up are premier league teams is it?

Does it have the highest attendances? The best teams outside the top 6? Champions who don’t rely on oil tycoons? Only Liverpool and Oil City will be challenging in Europe this year.

ok so 1 year 4 finalists-ignore
next year 2 you think will win it makes it poor?

behave will you

its a great league with its stadia, big name players, big name managers, and clearly high quality of teams. also yes too much money but that also means teams like west ham are assembling squads on par with porto and ac milan etc. whilst this is a sad thing its also crazy to say no quality outside top 6 . no doubt amount of games on tv is a bad thing and can hurt atmosphere

so is bundesliga with their attendances and atmosphere, cheap tickets etc have historic teams and also high intensity(if not high quality)brand of football - negatives is the quality and lack of big name players in league

so is la liga with their historic teams and best player of all time, also football is easy on eye and have a history of dominating in europe so have good quality depth outside top 4 - negatives less different league winners than prem

serie a i have a soft spot for due to C4 days, has maybe most historic club names and now some big names are coming back with rich owners and stadium plans etc negatives 1 team league till this year and not family freindly in the stands

moral of story all leagues have strengths and weaknesses. watch um all and enjoy tho!

Leicester?

In france been all psg bar monoco also rich

Juve have more resources than competitors in their leagues. But being owned by fiat is ok cos not foreign?

Most clubs winning big leagues have rich owners these days not just in england

Ah, Leicester. The same club owned by Thai billionaires right? The same one that got promoted and ran tens of millions in losses in the process? Look in our second tier, it’s rife with the same thing and 4 clubs have sold their grounds to their owners in the process.

So which team in europe is winning leagues without money??? Curious

Just seen that this actually significant to us because we now no longer have the largest loss of an English club in European competition :)

2-0 down to Brighton after 30 mins. Not a fan of sacking managers as soon as anything goes wrong but you can't imagine them letting this go on for much longer.

Lloris’ error was bizarre, more so than the one against Southampton. Never could work him out
