Here was me thinking a gym in Havant or Tescos in Exeter were decent shouts and I see all of the slightly more 'exotic' places listed on this thread.

We're everywhere by the looks of it.

For those 90s ravers/drum n bassers…in a club in London, DJ Doc Scott playing his set. He Took off his top to reveal the dark blue/light blue thick striped Cov top. Get in there!

Late 90s early 00s it was pretty commonplace to wear football tops to raves...... would see City fans in droves at the Sanctuary in Milton Keynes.

But would see many other tops too...... Man CIty, Wolves, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle..... always plenty of them about too.

Used to be one guy who was a city fan who went everywhere..... camo trousers, city top and wraparound shades.

Walking into the Sheridan Smith play in London after the Wolves cup game last year - yes I know but couldn't get a ticket so watched it in Leicester Square in the casino. After running up and down Shaftesbury Avenue shouting SBA to the bemusement of the tourists I went into the theatre singing the Sky Blue song - bloke in front of me turned round and joined in. Didn't take in anything of the first half of the play dreaming of another trip to Wembley. PUSB

I gave an old green & black shirt to a safari guide in Botswana. He claimed to be a Coventry fan so I challenged him to name a few players. He rattled off the whole squad (2014). He loved talking football for the next two days.

Not quite of the theme but I once bumped into Richard Wood in Leeds on the Monday lunchtime following his last minute own goal for Rotherham against us (around 2014). Needless to say I was an arse and mentioned this to him (“once a sky blue. Etc.”) He had the good grace to laugh and was generally a great guy.

EDIT - from memory it was a winner for us as well

Went on holiday once to Portugal and got collected from the airport by a City fan. Wasn't a great surprise though as it was my dad who had gone on an earlier flight.

On holiday in Benidorm in 1983 met one of the main lads from The Legion ( he was from Nuneaton). He recognised me from one of the last games in 82 at Maine Road (iirc correctly we won because of a Steve Whitton hat-trick) when i was wearing a US pilot jacket. Bumped into him and his mates away at Stoke around 85 when they invited me and my mates to join them- we declined!

Was working at a hospital in West London until recently and had a few regular patients who turned out to be Cov fans... Met one of them the week after his ACL reconstruction and bumped into him in the away end at Fulham a few days later, both of us on crutches as I had a recently knackered Achilles

Played 'spot your team's shirt' at Glasto last year and scored about 26 while Watford, Birmingham and Stoke got about 4 each

I reckon there are thousands in Stoke and Sheffield.

Well, there were when I was there. Would have been about 1987.

I live in London and am frustrated that I have never seen a Cov fan in the wild. I know we’re not the biggest club, but would still have expected to see a few more!

Was on holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand with the missus and some friends. Guy by the pool bar at our hotel was wearing a Cov shirt and we decided to watch that night's game at the Irish pub across the street.

It was the 5-4 Sunderland game and the owner ended up bringing us free drinks after Chaplin's winner. My memory got a little hazy after that.

30 years ago I was on KO- TOA and seen a lad with his Cov shirt on, 4 weeks later seen the same lad on the Khoa-san road Bangkok . We watched the game at 4am and got wasted on the local brew (Sangtip) a fully loaded amphetamine tipple, Worst hangover ever inflicted on myself. I would say great memories if I could remember anything else

Me and another City fan traded a "Sky Blue Army!" back and forth near the castle in 2022 much to my wife's annoyance. She muttered "You're a 46 year old man" and headed off to Space Mountain with the kids.

I do Weymouth parkrun every Saturday in my City shirt. As a result I pretty much end up in conversation with a different City fan down on holiday every week in the summer.

Kanchanaburi felt like mini-Cov at one point with a Cov lad owning a bar, a lad from Nuneaton running another and plenty of Cov either living out their long term or visiting.

The main reason I hate MK Dons is for the destruction of The Sanctuary to build their crappy stadium. That was an awesome place..

In the taxi from airport to hotel in Vegas, the driver heard our accent and asked me if I liked ‘soccer’ and who my team was. Spoke a little about Haji Wright. This was a week after Robins was sacked and he asked me who I thought was in line to replace him and I said I think Lampard. He said ‘Oh, Liverpool!’

He was mixing up his English international midfielders I think.

I went to the Sanctuary reunion rave that was put on by Majika and a group of other dj/mc's at the MK Dons/Marshall arena in November.

Layout was great, very reminiscent of the Sanctuary, and the music was pretty much on point.

However, just wasn't the same.... atmosphere was really lacking, i guess the youngsters don't get on it as much, and the older people who were attracted to the reunion are just that..... older.

That said, i spent a couple of hours in the upstairs "technodrome" and it was firing.

1. Was on holiday in Kos about 8/9 years ago, in a little bar in the old town, Friday night and Cov were playing, I had my phone out to put a bet on Cov, Mrs was moaning about it, bloke on next table asked if I was putting a bet on Cov, was I a Cov fan. Turned out he was as well, him and his Mrs joined our table and me and him spent the rest of the night getting pissed and talking all things Cov, ladies were not impressed
2. In Budapest this year for my birthday, in the Ruins bars on the Saturday night, went to go to one of the bars to get a drink when I heard 'Super Super Frank, Super Franky Lampard', looked over and there were 6 blokes singing away, I shouted over 'Sky Blue Army', got chatting to them for about 20 mins on all things Cov, Mrs thought I'd got lost lol

Not as exotic as Budapest, but the same thing happened to me here in Brum just before Xmas at the Bacchus Bar - went to get a round in & there were a group of Cov fans all singing Lampard songs - I never did get the round in for my mates haha (I'll be freaked out if one of you reply to this comment too like the Rotterdam incident)
