It s , Sisu PR at its best , everybody picking on us , no one wants to play with us, NO your just cheap skates with no vision or love for the club and have your own agenda . I think it suites them down to the ground to lose the Academy , as has been mentioned many times , the balls in their court to save it .

I mean how do you back sisu leaving? Its OK saying on a forum "I back the owners leaving rather than more court action", pretty much everyone wants new owners, great so what? How is that going to make any difference to what sisu decide to do or how is it going to make sisu leave?

I understand the reference, I don't understand my phones predictive text.
Getting the wrong end of the stick and making a fool of yourself trying to score points as usual I see, never mind.
I will let my Brentford supporting friend. Who is actually a villa fan who works for QPR academy know you haven't learnt.

No real surprise. I think Sport England might just have had sufficient grounds to maintain an objection, but the truth is that they're not there to protect CCFC's academy and they've made their decision on this basis. Wasps, of course, could have chosen another location, but like the Ricoh this one has been made available to them so easily that they would have been fools not to take it. They're not fools of course, they just don't give a shit about the football club or indeed anyone outside themselves (including many of their own fans).

Clearly the council's position here is to ensure that the franchise they invited into the city thrives, regardless of the impact on the local clubs. They have to, in order to justify the decision they took to sell the Ricoh to them. I could almost live with that if it wasn't for outrageous hypocrites like Maton and Lucas trying to pretend that they somehow care what happens to CCFC or CRFC in all this.

And anyone who thinks that in any way by saying this I'm somehow supporting SISU is too stupid to own a computer or smartphone, and should stick to stuff made by Fisher Price.

Yeah your right bud i don't usually bother reacting to be honest, very frustrated with the state of the club and the situation we are currently in. I'm just not convinced in all these decision's being made are coincidence, Sisu are hated within CCC chambers and i'm sure they are behind all moves being made at moment.

If this is the case, then why is an answer we would all like to know.

Sometimes when I browse this forum I wonder if I'm on the Coventry city fc supporters forum, because the amount of 'fans' that seem to gloat at our demise is astounding.

We clearly have more than terrible owners, but this fact just seems to give every other c**t free reign to fuck us over

What's happening to our great club is a fucking disgrace, and it's not 100% down to our shit owners.

The more the council, CSF and Wasps try to force SISU out the longer they will be here.
If they actually work with the club the more SISU could build something to sell.

I know if I owned SISU the more I would prolong this as long as I possibly could, the longer they are here not signing a long term agreement to play at the Ricoh they know Wasps will start to really struggle.

Who could name a sponsored rugby ground, even in the top flight the Premiership, I can't name one off the top of my head even the champions from last season play at a small community stadium without a recognised sponsor. It's the football club playing long term at a ground that brings the sponsors interest.

I think SISU hope Wasps getting the revenue from playing just ten games at home a season against the 2/3 million bond repayments , will start to struggle themselves. We know the stadium itself makes a profit though it's not massive so it's a smallish percentage of what they will have to start paying concerning the bonds soon

SISU are playing the " we are not signing a long term tenancy agreement" on purpose IMO, they feel without a serious stadium naming contract Wasps with their dwindling crowds may start to feel ever increasing heat year by year.

We have years and years of this, SISU are not going anywhere for a very long time, and it's because of the conspiracy against the club by the council CSF and Wasps.
Just my opinion

Every party is against SISU and in turn therefore against the club. You can't look at it any other way.

I'm angry at the other parties as much as I am SISU, but the only way out of this is to try and force new ownership, which means a take over. That's literally the only way we're going to get out of this disease.

I'm not going to pretend I have the answers in how we do this, I'm not saying I know how we could attract new owners, or try and collaborate with the fans in part ownership, but until we're prepared to all agree the club is in distinct danger of ceasing to exist unless we do something, we aren't going anywhere.

We need to have a proper adult discussion with the fans prepared to bring any ideas or plans to the table. At least this way we're putting up some sort of fight, and might have a chance of getting our club back.

I suggest we start getting on with it.

That is the main problem. A fair number on this site care enough. There are only about 2500 on here though - & a sizeable proportion are skeptical as to any actions making any difference to the club's plight...& others simply use it as a tool to rubbish the performance of the performances. Doesn't inspire any of the protagonists to do much positive to help the club really. I personally sense a SISU approach of attempting to always take the short term approach to 'What's in it for me?' Others simply wouldn't want short term...they are looking for longer term sustainability & results regarding what they back with their efforts.

...onwards & upwards PUSB

It does seem to be taking along time over the naming rights and they are probably not as valuable as Wasps thought as most people will still call it the Ricoh anyway it tends to be the first name that sticks look at Boltons ground as soon as I think of it it's the Reebok. The good news is their crowds are dwindling looking at the pictures they didn't get over 10k on Saturday.

I disagree over the bonds though they will just get another set of bonds to pay off the first set.

Someone please explain to me why this is a problem. It's CCFCs academy, we rent the current site so why can't our owners just relocate it? Why do we assume that we rely on the council and higgs to support it and that they're obliged to support us? Let's sort our own issues out.

Totally agree. For me I think that means a brand new professional football club in Coventry, Coventry United? CCFC is toxic, anyone interested in buying the club would have to do business with SISU which Is not exactly an appealing prospect. On a relatively low budget a semi professional Coventry United could make The National League, two divisions below League One. That would then open up some real possibilities, I could see people transferring their allegiances. A fresh start and some posivitivity, a club to be proud of.

Good as long as they are wasting money on new seats etc

They should also be made to pay for the replacement of any of the road signs that need changing but no doubt the council will bend over for that
