I (sort of) do this for a living - I work as a front-end engineer at Deliveroo; I don’t tend to get so directly involved with design there (we have people who are specialists in that), but in a past life I used to do the design as well as the development stuff. I still enjoy dabbling with visual stuff even though it’s not really my job any more, though.

Had a go at redesigning their logo for fun. I reckon it wouldn’t take much effort to turn their soulless mark into something distinctive and interesting.
