Really don't no why we are playing this un needed match days before out big start against festa.

Andy thorn will IMO take the young lots leaving out clingan, juke, mcsheff, murphy, keogh, hussey

My starting line up
Dunn
Christie mcpake wood phillips
Wilson gael thomas ruffles
Jeffers billy daniels(dosent he play there?)

Maybe we may see some even younger players that have featured before like clarke-harris

When is the Sphinx friendly?

And isn't it a Cov XI, so could be an entire academy squad fielded?

Given how badly some players faded against Norwich, they need more minutes under their belts. Boothroyd was a terrible manager, but what gave us the edge in the early months of his reign was that we were usually the fittest side on the pitch. AT is known to be very relaxed on such matters..it could be about to hurt us. That high morale his laid-back approach has brought us won't last if we're getting thumped 3-0 every week.

Does it matter? We all know when people say "fester" they are referring to "Leicester"

If Gael or any of the other lads mentioned are to be seriously considered for Saturday, then this is a risk too far. It should be the academy players that have not yet featured or are unlikely to be included in Saturdays squad and those coming back from injury that are not yet ready. Anything else with our situation is too risky.

I've always assumed it's used to denote when a team won't be fielding their strongest team, you often see prem teams send their XI's in pre-season to lower league sides.

Yep, I always thought it was a weak team of trailists, youngsters and reserves.

Love the fact this forum is busy all the time......shame it appears we have a few, shall we say "knobheads" on here though. Spoiling for a row or just trying to be deliberately annoying!!

I assume we have some players desperate for match time, not sure he would play people coming back from injuries though, unless he wants to try them in a less than important fixture. No good someone breaking down saturday first time out is it.
