I find it so frustrating that we haven't a single flair player, someone that can spark the team and the crowd with a surging run or bit of magic from nothing.

We seriously lack any SPARK

Moussa had it, Wilson had it, Christie had it. even baker and McSheffrey were capable of something from nothing!

Our current squad are slow, ponderous, physically lightweight and mentally weak. We are desperate for some flair or even a bit of dogged intent.

We as a crowd are seemingly never in danger of suddenly seeing a worldie smashed in from 30 yards or one of our lads beating 3 men and lashing one in the top corner.

The feeling of deprivation is overwhelming at present...

Have next to zero faith in SP signing the player you describe.

Because he would cost money or because SP wouldn't know a good player if he dropped in his lap!

I think SISU ' S transfer policy is to sign really cheap, crap players to make the academy players look good when they break through

As I have been ranting on here today - introduction of youth players may be a mask to give the impression that we have a forward thinking strategy whilst the quality of our playing squad deteriorates. Great if we players like Maddison come through but IMO won't be enough

Because SP does not know a good player when he sees one, our player turnover of his signings has been alarming. Thankfully the emergence academy lads like Wilson have really made his teams look good enough for League 1.

Its pretty clear to me that we are mentally weak without our strongest physical player who has been absent for some time.

Sheffers and Baker were miles better than some we have on the field at the moment. We lack motivation for sure and leak really poor goals. We have been spoilt with decent keepers and now have soembody that would be more of an understudy.

Agree fully with this thread. The whole side is devoid of pace, goals, flair and excitement. Madison is the only player who offers something different and should be given a chance in my eyes.

I think your right however I would like a player with some bight and devilment in the middle of the park first. If we had the hardman we could then give a flair player the time they would need to play. Never thought I would say it but we need Lloyd Mcgrath type player that will get stuck in and drive the others on.
