I'm anxiously waiting news too!

Club have tweeted, it me, but others who've asked, that they will announce details ASAP.

Clearly their definition of that is different to ours as we're only 2 weeks away!

I'm seriously contemplating getting in my car and driving over so I can see friends on the way down but surely this club can put some basic info on the site about this tour, I feel this club is so badly run they cant even put out a bloody timetable for this when everything must have been booked for then to agree to these games.
Its pathetically shoddy, even for a league 2 or fourth division club I'm my days

I worry they've planted a seed but it will end up like the last two 'tours'. Should probably nick Peter Kay's DVD title 'the tour that didn't tour tour' the way its going!

Last season was Austria - planned to play a game, found a Saudi Arabian team to play, ended up playing a B team on a training field somewhere.
One before that it was a last ditch visit to Lake Garda. Can't even remember who we played that year?
Holland I made it to, and we ended up having to reschedule one game and that ended up being played in Germany last minute. Remember those sixteen hours out of the hotel most of which was spent just getting there!

I've seen that two Spanish teams are playing whilst I'm in Flordia.

Tickets for a normal El Classico aren't that much are they?

I see they have confirmed that they will be playing two games at San Pedro del Pinatar. One is against Valenciennes, the other to be confirmed. I have been to the town, but not to the football ground. Pinatar are a very small team, in the Tercera which is the fourth tier and their ground appears to be one of those little local ones. I suspect it will be on an artificial surface but I'm not certain.

Why is the Tercera the 'Fourth tier' ? When in Spanish Tercera means third ??

Yes you come straight to it not long after exiting San Javier airport near Murcia on the N332. Been through a few times, football ground is going to be something akin to Hinckley with a 3500 capacity.

La Liga/La Liga Santander[edit]
La Liga is the highest level in the Spanish football league system and is operated by the LFP.

La Liga 2/La Liga 1|2|3[edit]
La Liga 2 is the second highest level in the Spanish football league system and is also operated by the LFP.

Segunda División B[edit]
The Segunda Division B is the third highest level in the Spanish football league system and is operated by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

Tercera División

Yes, Tercera means third, but as with Leagues 1 & 2 why should it make any sense?
Below La Liga there is one more national division, the Segunda. Then you have 2B (third tier), which is regionalised into four leagues. The Tercera (fourth tier) is even more localised as there are 18 leagues at that level, so it takes a huge effort to get promoted through complicated playoffs. Each Tercera league has four Preferente leagues below it too.
